Why indeed! Cuz it had ample publicity with Shah and Yash Chopra reuniting, Kat at her good phase, and the whole Tamasha with DOS which kinda benefitted both the movies

srk should have learnt from this jab tak and rab ne movie that times have changed.. a smart person would have noticed.. but guess he can't see beyond his big ego..

I would like to ask why dint Chandni movie flop?That movie was so bad..the only saving grace was Sridevi.That was the worst Yash Chopra movie acc to me.JTJH was still better than Chandni.

I actually brought that movie bcoz firstly Chandni another Yash Chopra movie and secondly it was terrible.People generally say how Yash Chopra dint direct the whole JTJH and so it turned out like this.My point being yash Chopra has earlier also made some very bad movies( which I don’t know why are hailed as classics).

At the risk of being crucified, Sri was terrible in that movie, should never have gotten back with Rishi and the movie had nothing going for it except maybe the songs and the beauty so I would have to agree with you

despite weak script, JTHJ was indeed an entertaining movie, unlike JHMS and ZERO, hence didnt flopped.

simple.

it didn't flop due to anu.except her n srk scenes the entire movie was a torture. kat was bland. looked like sleep walking. her n srk scenes lacked emotions. younger samar was badly sketched,bad acting. older grave beardy samar was far better n I wished that meera blows up n dies n akira gets samar but no they had to give meera the candy. blah.

I watched this movie in the cinema. 😕 Not a pleasant experience at all... The untimely death of Yash Chopra kinda helped with the buzz.
