Every SRK film that is a flop is somehow given Semi-Hit tags. Just to keep him in Top 3 somehow.

PRK for a reason.

For which SRK movies apart from Ra One is that true? Keep it unbiased

Btw MNIK was not even remotely a hit in India. It got a "Coverage to Commission Earner" verdict in Film Information which basically means it barely avoided being a flop but BOI calls it a hit 😆.

What makes Film information more reliable than BOI? I mean Ra One is known to have been a failure but it seems clear that MNIK was a success. Never heard otherwise before, same for JTHJ and Don 2. And since this is coming from people who don't even like SRK I'm suspicious

Fir Dilwale kyun nahi chali !?

Rest of the post I have to agree.

It did flop. They just somehow managed the media and gave it a PR spin to save the embarassment of his last film being such a disaster.

MNIK was a Flop in India. It's budget was 65 Crs. It made just 75 Crs or something in India. Both Kjo and SRK r biggest media n awards manipulators.

They put articles saying it did well abroad, so it is a Hit. No other film gets its verdict decided by Overseas business.

Well there is a pretty big difference between a clean Hit and a "Success" right? I mean any film can be called a Success as long as it makes some money but you need a lot more to be called a Hit. At least that is how it used to be. As for Film Information, it's the oldest Film trade magazine in India. The collections data they have from reported centers isn't matched by any other trade magazine or website. And while Nahata plays the media game just like most other "analysts", his verdicts for movies in Film Information have generally been pretty consistent over the years. Which is why very few films generally got a hit tag in Film Information. BOI when it started out in the early 00s had fairly similar verdicts to FI but around 2004-05 or so, they became hilariously biased towards SRK. This can easily be confirmed if you check BOI's own totals and verdicts for SRK movies from around 2000-2004 (using web.archive) and their current totals.

If JTJH is a Flop then most of recent Akshay Kumar movies are flops .Varuns movies are flops. Super30 ,bang bang etc. are flops . idont understand why SRK's BB movies are only counted as hits .

TM, MNIK was hit in India and ATBB overseas. It made more than double ,so it's global status does matter.

So SRK's time at the top which started in 1995 was pretty much finished in 2008

Few months or few hours does not matter he had a hit CE in the time frame u mentioned in the OP I was just pointing it out.
