why is everyone after SRK?

Forget about the audience and the media, the entire industry seems to be obsessed with SRK...

From rakhi sawant (my dance is better than his) to amir khan (SRK is no.2) ... everyone feels the need to compare themselves to him.. like he some gold standard benchmark ! .. and the last time i checked srk was neither an extraordinary dancer nor an outstanding actor ... whats so special about him that everyone and i mean EVERYONE - from rank newcomers to old veterans - feels the need to compare himself to srk....

and that is exactly the reason why i love him 😛 .. love him or hate him, you just can't ignore him...

SRK being mentioned in just their one line and their news or article spreads... I mean like if Rakhi didn't have that one line 'My Dance Is Better Than SRKs' then I don't think that the article would have brought in as much interest as it did... and it would probably get more people to see her performance as well to compare it with SRKs and see if it really is better...

I don't give a damn about SRK, and I never will...So I choose to ignore...All the articles that praise him and all the articles that insult him. 😊

Ppl just want publicity......And mentioning SRK's name once in an interview is enough to give u mileage n limelight for a moment ! 😆

hehe it's amazing when i was young...khans ruled bollywood..and they still do 15 years down the line...before, it was SRK v. SALMAN...girls used to go berserk over the two khans...i liked them both
and i'm glad that it's not 'bout SRK and Salman anymore...

but i really hate the way media and fans have projected SRK..he is named the biggest actor in the world (WTF! havent they heard of Marlon Brando or Al Panico or Dustin Huffman...the list goes on) coz he's not! and it's just hype (thanks to indian ridiculous news channel)

and there was a news that he is bigger than Tom Cruise becoz OSO earned more than Tom's Lions for Lamb. but lol..have u seen how intelligent the movie (Lions for Lamb) is??? and as for millions of ppl knowin SRK more than Tom...lol who did the survey of all those ppl?? did the surveyor count that many?? it's not even funny...and the biggest irony is probably TOM CRUISE may not even know who the hell SRK is.

I want media and his hard core fans to stop doing gungan of him all the time....plz let him alone...
he is awesome...and u dont have to remind that to anyone.....

I would just like to say as an independent unbiased observer ( I won't tell you guys whether I love srk or hate srk or whatever!), the fact of the matter is for anyone person to survive for almost 20 years in any industry and be sucessful (I know people are going to say he's not a good actor and he hams etc etc) but he has given may hits,is business savvy and understands movie making, so by that yardstick, I think we should give anyone who has stood that long in any field a standing ovation. As you all know there is always competition in any area and it's hard anywhere to be at the top of your game for a long time.

So to cut a long story short
Please give credit where credit is due!
