Saaho Is A HIT In Hindi

Saaho (Hindi) collected 3.50 crore nett on its second Friday which are decent numbers and decent is more than enough for the film considering the very good first week collections. There is a fall at the bigger multiplexes but centres in UP, Gujarat and CI have fallen just 30-35% from the previous day which is a good trend in these circuits. It is collecting better than the new release in Chhichhore in mass centres but there is a big difference in the bigger multiplexes. The overall drop is 45% from Thursday and the collections of the film in eight days are 118.50 crore nett.

The film is a solid HIT and could even turn out to be the best this year after Kabir Singh , Uri - The Surgical and Mission Mangal. It is actually there if we factor that the film had limited release in South so the market is not as big as the regular Hindi film as it is for the Hindi version of this film. Even if the NETT figures stay below the above films there is a good chance that the share will come out higher due to the huge first week. The film has a share of 64 crore so far in eight days. The target will be the 75 crore of Total Dhamaal which is fourth best this year for Hindi films. Saaho in Hindi is a HIT but its a totally different story in the other formats of the film. Chhichhore Strong Growth - Saaho Good Run Continues

Chhichhore had strong growth on its second day of around 65% to collect 11.50-11.75 crore nett. The two day numbers for the film will be around 18.50 crore nett plus. They are still low collections but now the trend is there with the potential to benefit on the weekdays.

Mumbai city which was very slow on day was really flown on the second day with collections almost doubling. Gujarat / Saurashtra has also showed hueg growth but collections there remain dull as the start was terrible. The growth is a little better than films like Raazi and Stree last year but the Saturday trend has got much bigger over the last year. It will be the Monday figures that will tell where this films tands among those two films.

Saaho (Hindi) continues its good run with a jump of 40% on Saturday to collect around 4.75-5 crore nett and this takes its nine day total to a huge 123.50 crore nett. The success of this film will encourage more South films to have big release in Hindi markets as the 75 crore plus distributor share this film is heading to is a huge figure for South films but it will be surprising if this happens again unless its franchise (Bahubali) or a franchise backed by a big hindi film star (2.0). A stand alone film from South to record these sort of numbers will not happen too many times.

Good Sunday For Chhichhore - Mass Back For Saaho

Chhichhore had good collections on Sunday with collections in the 15.50-16 crore nett range taking its weekend close to the 35 crore nett mark. Its a similar weekend to De De Pyaar De this year and Sui Dhaaga last year but both these flms started with better opening day numbers.

The weekend collections of the film are pretty good but with the strong trend the hope will be that it sustains strongly on the weekdays and ends with a strong first week total. There is a restricted holiday for Moharam which should also help the weekday numbers.

Saaho (hindi) which had limited growth yesterday for a Saturday saw huge growth on Sunday as the mass audience came back. The film recorded very good numbers in all mass circuits on Sunday be it CPCI, Bihar or Gujarat. The jump on Sunday is around 50% and the film will collect around 6.50 crore nett for a 14.50 crore nett second weekend.

The business of the film in ten days is almost 130 crore nett and in some mass circuits it will be second best grosser of the year after Kabir Singh beating films like Uri - The Surgical Strike, Bharat and Mission Mangal.

Saaho (Hindi) had a decent weekend of 14.25 crore nett to take its total to 129.25 crore nett in ten days. There was actually a drop of 80% plus in the second weekend as the larger multiplexes saw big drops but the job was done in the first week.

The film will do business in the 140-145 crore nett range but its distributor share looks like being bigger than Kesari and Total Dhamaal and the footfalls may even beat Mission Mangal to stand behind Kabir Singh, Uri - The Surgical Strike and Bharat for 2019. Saaho All India Update - 300 Cr Looking Tough

Saaho is heading for a second week total of around 34-35 crore nett and the Hindi version will be contributing over 65% of the collections. The film saw huge falls in the South and now stands at around 282 crore nett. The film will probably fall short of 300 crore nett and finish with a similar total to Padmaavat (2018) which was 295 crore nett in all formats.

The film will have a worldwide theatrical recovery of around 220-225 crore and other revenue from digital, sattelite and music will be around 150 crore for a total recovery of 375 crore which is huge. The makers sold the film at huge prices in the South which meant they were in the plus on release but this plus added to the plus from Hindi markets is what the distributors who paid those prices in the South will lose.
