Whilst landing humans on moon is nothing but a haseen sapna of enthusiasts (yeah yeah i know) and most of them don't even understand the complexity behind landing humans on lunar surface and safely bring them home. We are not going to witness any human missions this century. May be after some 100 years combined efforts from all countries would make it plausible but not anytime soon. Skepticism over human landings is growing and for legit reasons and in another 50 years the landings would reduce to just fairy tale.
But ISRO is doing a good job nonetheless, soft landing a single column rocket is not easy and something we are still trying to figure with 100 percent success rate. Space-X has blown many rockets to gain expertise in soft landing and doing it the first time in the vacuum of moon without prior testing is a different ball game though theoretically it is much easier to control in vacuum. ISRO is not just wasting tax payer monies it has been generating decent revenue from launching foreign satellites using it's PSLV, they have launched satellites for about 30 countries 192 satellites alone for USA.
PS: No desi is going to make it to the moon anytime soon. We need powerful rocket, our indigenous GSLV is just not enough, the shorter the duration of the trip better the survival chances, 30 days one-way imagine the supply of dosa idli daal roti sabzi they need to carry and a big defecation chamber inside of space hull, there's a reason why russians did not even attempt to land humans yet😆
