Btw, in some circles I've heard that the mehndi's color is indicative of a MIL's love for the bride. If that's the case, then I'm not surprised that it was light considering it was Beeji. 🤢 As for the second time around, HS' mom died a long time ago, so it's not like she can have any love for Babes. 🤔

LOL people change the meaning of the ritual as per convenience.....which again brings me back to the same point.....jab meaning hi consistent nahin hai, why be hung up on it? You can interpret the result any which way you want for your happiness....bol lo ki mehendi ka color light matlab zindagi mein ROSHNI....mil gaya pati ka pyar....ho lo khush😆
Funny enough, dreaming about romanticized weddings is something that I've caught myself doing as well. On one hand I want the whole shebang, while on the other I don't cuz I don't see the point of it. My relatives and cousins weren't there for me when I needed them so why should I include them for what should be my special day? And frankly speaking, I'm totally fine just shifting into a new home after signing the dotted line. I can't stand crowds and just the idea of being the center of attention gives me panic attacks. I hate how there has been one standard given for desi weddings. That it has to be done this way, and that if it's not, then it was either because the family was cheap or whatnot.
This got super personal real quick but this has been getting on my nerves for a while now.

LMAO, I hope HS uses this logic to cheer up Babes. 😆
It really is just a matter of one's perspective.

Oh well the new generation is at a point where these things don't matter to them - it's the gen of destination wedding !! Lucky you is all I would say ..
I had no hosh when I got married due to these shenanigans .. although I enjoyed them .. if I were to do it again .. I would surely do a destination wedding with closest people and not the entire God damn community

He's looking so cute/adorable in that last gif.
And I love how chill Lala was about doing the facial on HS. And HS ki wish bhi poori hogi facial karane ki. Ab sach mein Babita ka jodi daar lage ga.

P.S. Your coloring on these two, especially the last one, has been spot on! They're looking absolutely fab!
