Yes, she can choose her daughter but she doesn't need to be so unreasonable with another person's beti.

I understand your point. A dark mehndi would add to the beauty of the bride. But I don't like stressing on it too much. My cousin had an allergic reaction to mehndi, so some people can't even put henna on their hands for genuine reasons.

And some people just never get dark colour no matter how much remedies they try. And Babita's body is still the same, even if she gets henna after 10 years, high chances that it would be pale again.

It's just one type of adornment, it should be treated as such.

Don't take it wrong, it's great to have a beautiful henna on the bride but if it doesn't meet the expected amount of darkness then no one should stress over it.

Although in case of babita, she would be freaking out on anything that remotely resembles to her previous wedding.

you make a valid point and i agree, but, as they say, the heart wants what it wants.
