I think Sid is Shashank's legitimate child with Padma. I think Shashank and Padma separated due to some reasons .

Writers create such a mess..they show Dr shashank as a tharki..who has so many wife and gfs. Wat the hell is going on..well if did is padma and shashank son then it also seems not fit..bcoz shashank marry padma when he is already father of very grown up children..ab tb agar ye show kre to its weird..I m very disappointed with show

I hope he is Padma and Shashank's son. It is quite clear from yesterday's episode that he is Shashank's son, but whether he is actually illegitimate or not is the question. If he is illegitimate, then it will have an adverse effect on Dr Shashank's character.

I dont think he is actually illegitimate. His mother may have adopted him or found him somewhere like dumped in a dustbin or something and maybe someone who hates Dr Shashank and his wife did this to separate them from their child or break their relation something like this and as all his life Sid grew up not knowing who is his father and maybe his mother is also not married that's why people are calling him illegitimate son. And whether he is really illegitimate or not that is to be decided as the story continues. But this makes him a complex character like all his happy go lucky attitude is just a mechanism to hide his actual pain and his empathy is a result of his childhood sufferings.

I think sid mother is her real mother and father is not Dr shashank but father is someone else . If Dr shashank is father of sid then sid mother would have never ask him work in sanjavni

Look like sid father left his wife and son and married to some one. I think it is case of adultery which I don't think Dr shashank can do such serious mistake

I think the same. I think he is Shashank and Padma's son, who got seperated somehow and thus shashank was unaware of the existence of his son. Padma might have lost Sid somehow , and Sid's foster mother got him and brought him up.

Or maybe due to some reasons Padma or Dr Shashank's first wife I don't know her name have to leave Sid, due to some circumstances maybe and they left him with someone they knew like Sid's foster mother who knows Sid's parents history with Sanjivani or have her own motto so want Sid to work in Sanjivani only just a guess.
