Nice post.There is very small difference between ego and self respect.

Ego in wife and husband relation means thinking that they can live without each other,competing with each other in small things and even in decision making also they want upper hand.

Self respect means making the opposite person realize his/her feelings,emotions,respecting each other decisions and supporting that whatever situation.

Sorry These are not dictionary meaning but this is something I realized from experience through counseling people.

Previously Guddan never left the house when her Bahus were insulting her because her husband was with her always though initially he dint loved her but respected her what she was..but after Antara came and that kaand of spending night happened ..even though Guddan was telling that he dint do anything he neither believed himself nor Guddan and later AJ accused of killing unborn baby who was never existed but without hearing anything and believing bass AJ ne faisala sunadiya and left which was major blow on their relationship.

In wife and husband relationship everything should be mutual.its a bond which they both have to work on it.it should never be one-sided,jab marzi huyi chod do ,jab marzi huyi hug karlo..aisa nahi nota

A girl leaves her parents house and enters a new house with a expectation that she will be treated with same respect.both husband and wife cannot take each other for granted,

In sasural koyi saat ho ya na ho if husband is with you ,with your decision..that is biggest strength any women can have.lekin jab husband uska saat chod diya then it’s important for that person to make him realize her importance,her feelings,her emotions.i know adjustments are needed in marriage but even it should be two-way.

Here Guddan is not leaving AJ,she dint signed divorce nor she had taken decision in a fit of anger,,she wants to give space to both of them,to think what happened in last few days.

If you keeping ending relationships then everyone will be single..do you really think in real world loving each other means singing romantic songs and agar misunderstanding huyi toh divorce that person..it dont work like that..its very tough to leave a person who you love to leave but sometimes it becomes necessary for both to introspect their mistakes and work on it by giving space and time to each other.and definitely it cannot happen by giving divorce.
