Yes self respect is paramount . It shouldnt be a hurdle in a relation ship but it shoul infact be balancer in a relationship . Mutual respect .
We have discussed all that AJ did to her . But there is more .
Today guddan didnot just walk away because of AJ . She walked away because of the entire family . The way they treated her from day one . Throwing a bucket full of water , to sleeping on the swing , to muh dikhayi to goa to angad to ............
She walked away from daadi who at drop of a hat abandoned her . accepted antara's fake child as waris !!!!!!!!! How much that must have hurt .
And then because she was guddan ,the kind , pure soul ,she with stood all the injustice . She didnot give up or run away . But she saw to it that each member realises how wrong they were , and then when the whole family realised their mistake , she walked away head held high , with self respect .
AJ gave her a lot also . He gave her confidence , he stood by her a lot of times and so guddan accepted she loved him , but the hurt he caused (I had made a post on this way back ) Was so profound that to come out of it she had to leave him.........
Now Aj's journey of seeking love will begin !!!!!!!

true from the day she entered as bride no one respected her
initially aj and dadi did but antara changed everything .
dadi --warris ka jaap either antara se ya guddan se
aj--facts never see beyond that and trust issues
durga--she wanted power
lakshmi --selfish wanted bride of her choice but later she was with guddan when guddan supported her
saru--chorni
aj gave her the confidence and tried to remove the pain of chits but post antara added more wounds to her pain
guddan position of wife was always in pendulum state ..
with trust issues it broke in to pieces .
everyone hurt her but she in turn showered them with love
being strong individual she didnt run away but faced it unlike aj who stood confused and trusted antara .
he tried to mend it but deep cut needs time to heal ..
he is a gentleman no doubt but needs a anger management for sure..
guddan tolerance meter went crashing so she had enough so the walk out ..she fought for her self-respect so that it won't be taken comfortable to disrespect henceforth in future
when hubby has no trust how can wife be with him
she wants a space to heal herself then she will decide
