This is beautiful. Each word has so much depth and thought that it brings tears to think abt the story that is woven around them.

Your post reminded me of another broken love story, i had once read in school. It goes like earth and sky fell in love with each other. However, the sky dwellers were worried abt wht will happen once earth shifts to her marital home with all the earthlings. And since they didnt want to share their place with the mortals, they plotted against the union and tore them apart. Since then whenever the agony of separation scorched earth and her pain became unbearable, sky showers her with rain to remind her of his eternal love and keep the hope alive that one day the distance will cease to be and they shall unite. No love story dies. Some just gets burried under the dust of time while others shine out. But they are all there.

But they are held together by countless bonds that only they can perceive, helpless to do anything but walk together.. While prerna goes about her daily business, anurag is right there quietly around her.. When she is lit by the light of her new life, her new bonds and responsibilities, she cannot see him... But when that life around her goes to sleep, when darkness falls around her, anurag shines his light on her and she can see him once again in her heart.

And that's what is their bond.. Anurag is the moon to prerna earth.
