Please do share the points on which you were unsure about your feelings. I love to hear other people's opinions and I totally understand what you mean about not being able to put your finger on it. Sometimes, I know what I feel but am not sure how to articulate it so I hold off on writing about it until the words come to me. The emotions the writers tap are not usually simple and straightforward.

I felt something indescribable when Minnie interrupted the pizza moment and then Babita kept aside two slices for her and HS looked on questioningly. That look of his was indecipherable to me. The recent few months have shown us the beautiful bond between Minnie and HS so I forgot that HS still has a few things to learn about Minnie. She ran out to give them privacy and I felt Babita somewhat understood her whereas HS was focusing on disciplining her. HS is usually so perceptive to his Veer Balika that it felt weird when he couldn't figure out exactly why she had rushed out.

One thing reading your analysis made me realise: The day Minnie ran out of the house as she had found out about Ashok's illegitimate relation and cried in the rain, she let out all her emotions. When Mickey said 'kabhi tu khud ke liye royi hai', my mind went to that scene. That day, she seemed to have been crying not just for her mother, but also herself. She had so many dreams and aspirations regarding love and her father coming back to live with her and her Babes. Then, within moments, her dream shattered. So she cried and cried and only when she had been drained of tears did she come back. She never truly cried again for herself after that. Put all her energy and focus into her mother. The one time she truly cried was during Ashok's drug case and that time HS had made her feel those emotions. This time Mickey had made her feel emotions, albeit happy ones. You mentioning parallels between HS and Mickey jumped out here.

Lastly, your entire analysis of 30th August was an absolute masterpiece, my favourite out of all you've done for this show till date. The emotional hug, the apology, letting go of Minnie's hand, and imagining Imarti; you explained everything perfectly.

Yes, indeed it took me a while to articulate why HS had that look on his face and was thrown off a bit. i felt the shift while watching the episode but could not put my finger to it until I watched the scene again. These writers are so good, and Aniruddh communicated all that with just one look. Wow! Yes, as I mentioned, HS doesn't know as much about the micro in Minnie's life, especially where some of her habits are concerned, frankly because he just hasn't known her that long. I am sure he will pick it up over time.

@bold this is one of my all-time favorite scenes. It followed Babita's line about Minnie feeling sad because Ashok and she were related by blood after all, and then we got that scene where HS was her father in every sense, allowing her to release her emotions and give in to his caring, where even Babita had not been able to make her open up.
