Babita never had that actual chance of growing up herself before...it was always guided by Minnie , I hope to see her growing into this loving woman giving this man every bit of love he is deserving of. It would be interesting to see how she opens up herself to him.. now believing that he understands her and is not going to go away...She will slowly open up and embrace his love..

And this is the reason, I believe people have stopped coming on to the forum... This is eventually Babita's story and Hanuman is just a character in her story... And like any other person in this world, Babita too very much deserves Hanuman just like Hanuman deserves her... and I'm pretty sure Hanuman is not going to suffer in this relationship... he'll get a partner and a companion in Babita... even if in the beginning he has to be the wiser, the maturer person... does not mean he'll 'suffer' or this is going to be a bad marriage... it's going to be a good one...

Actually, it shall be a realistic one. And as Naaem bi said, real marriages take a lot of work and effort... they have bad days and good days... there is no happy ever after! There never is!

I actually don't want to participate in discussion of episode.. though I visit the forum once in day. Don't know about others.

Bang on... Since the Imarti part came, people are bashing babita's character left, right and center. Then production house wrote an angry post, people calm down a bit and then babita questions HS about Poonam and we are back to Babita bashing.

It's okay to acknowledge her faults, but calling her brainless, unworthy of HS, not a role model to Minnie, not a good mother etc was a big turn off for me. I love her character. She is a realistic character, hence the short comings in her personality. And since it's realistic, she learns after making mistake. It's her character that has shown the most growth since the show started. Why do people think that she will stop learning after marriage?

Character growth takes time. And liking for Hanuman Singh, aniruddh Dave, HS- Imarti couple, HS- Minnie chemistry not at mean babita needs to be dragged down.

There's a difference between acknowledging Babita's flaws and bashing her outright.

If someone points out a flaw, then often the expectation is that we'd like Babita to learn from her mistakes and correct it, i.e. we are on her team and want her to improve with time so that she can be the best version of herself. Why people fail to see this is beyond me.

I don't see the same outrage when we point out HS' flaws or even Minnie's flaws. How come? Why is there no objection to "HS bashing" or "Minnie bashing" in those cases? Or for that matter Dadu, Beeji, or Lovely, Sukhi, who have so many obvious flaws but are not evil people at all?

Is it because they are less important or because we set different standards for different people?

As a divorced woman who walked out of an abusive marriage I have always understood where Babita is coming from. I started watching this show to join her in her journey towards emancipation, but that doesn't mean I will be blind to her faults and look the other way to pretend they don't exist. I want her to work on them, to acknowledge them, and really move on from her past.

In fact, if you don't point out someone's flaws because you can't be bothered to, then it means that character's arc is not important to you. Have we not seen Kammo's growth as a character? Sure, she is a supporting one, but if you look at her journey it has been quite impressive how an aggressive, narrow-minded, and insensitive woman like her is now a source of support for mother-daughter. We used to point out her mistakes here in the past and now appreciate her for trying to put in effort, and even going against her own husband while staying in her marriage.

Babita hasn't been a good role model to Minnie. So what if we point it out? That's something we want her to work on, not something that will be a permanent fixture in her life. What's wrong with acknowledging that?

In HS' flashbacks and from NB's words we got the message that he was a different person when he married Imarti, he was not so responsible or mature and made lots of mistakes. He was even going to hit her for goodness sake! Look at him today! He worked on himself, constantly tries to improve but when he makes mistakes we point it out.

Why does no one get angry when I say he is wrong to make decisions on behalf of mother-daughter or to be over-protective to the extent that he is, or to assume that Babita will react to things the way he does after he was very harsh with her? These are not simple issues, they are major flaws, yet I don't see the same amount of outrage or people saying that they don't want to debate things or come to the forum because of it.

Bold 1- That's what I am saying. A lot of people pointed out her insecurities, possessiveness, patriarchal mindset ( which she shed off during the journey) etc.... But saying that she's brainless, unworthy of HS, not a good mother etc is too much.

Bold 2- because pointing out flaws is not wrong. No one outrages to respectful criticism. But honestly I don't remember anyone "bashing" HS- calling him brainless. Slight bashing of Minnie was there but in case of babita all hell broke loose. There was a member name heartbleed I guess, who actually "bashed" HS. And she(or he) was rightfully called out.

Bold 3- I think people set higher standards for babita than HS.

I think that they had taken Babita and Mini story as far as it can go and I think that there was a set number of episodes for its closure as the Story did not have enough substance to sustain it for a long run and Sony is known for short run of serials.

But if it had not been for HS entry in the serial earlier in, they were not sure how it was going to pan out, hence there was talk of another male lead but they themselves did not know how popular HS would and so relatable Character as well and the chemistry with Mini and Babita.

It may have been Babita and Mini journey but it was HS who has had it possible for it to still be running. As I think that Babita on her own is not interesting enough after the initial divorce but than it was so boring and not interesting enough. Hence the flip and flop of her Character.

I think that agree or disagree but its HS who has made it possible for the Serial long run to date.
