Here is the next update. IF is so quiet now a days , yakeen nahi hota yeh wahi forum hai jahan har kuch minutes koi na koi discussion chalta rehta tha. I am not sure how many are still continuing on this forum but with a hope that something soon will rekindle this site, here is my next update. Please ignore any mistakes.

Even though she had not openly accepted his love, the smile she gave him while dropping rekindled his hope. "Sameer Manzil abhi bahut dur nahi " . he said to himself
After changing into his nightdress, he stood looking at her poster on the wall. He had enlarged her photo taken in Hyderabad and made a poster of it and placed it on the wall opposite his bed. Her smiling face was the first thing he saw in the morning and the last thing his eyes could see before drifting to sleep."Kitni pyari muskan hai tumhari is tasveer mein. Hyderbad mein jab humne apne pyar ka iqrar kiya tha, kitne khush the hum. Yeh muskan phir se dekhni hai Naina. Jab tum hasti ho toh khush mai hotha houn. Jab tum udas hoti ho toh kuch acha nahi lagta. Tumhe pata nahi jab maine kal I love you too kahan tha, meri dil ki dhadkan ka kya haal tha. Jee mein aa raha tha ki tumhe kaske gale laga loun, ek pal ke liye bhi dur na karun. "Tracing his finger lightly on her lips " Janeman tum nahi janti kya kya hota hai ,kitna tadpati ho tum , jab tum apne hothoun ko daatoun tale halke se dabati ho. Tumhe itna pyar dounga ki koi gum ka saya bhi nahi rahega . Mai poori koshish karunga tumhare har dard ko mitane ki". Kissing her lips, he said with all the fervor in his eyes

Reading his message a smile crept on her lips and a streak of pink appeared on her cheeks. Naina couldn't get him out of her thoughts. Holding his photo in her hand "Kyun itna pareshan karte ho? Har waqt tumhara khayal, haar jagah bas tum nazar aate ho. Yeh Jaan, sweetheart aisa bolna kabse sikha? Pata hai dil ka kya haal hota hai jab tum yeh sab kehte ho. Tumhari woh baatein, tumhari woh aawaz, tumhari shayari, tumhari pyar bhari aakhen,tumhara pass aana ,mere dil ki dhadkan ruk jaana kitni cheezoun se shikayat karun mai tumhari?. Tum nahi jante jab tum kareeb aate ho toh meri kya halat hoti hai. Hoth kapte hai , dil pata nahi jhat se jet ki speed pakad leta hai. Jee chahata hai tumhe gale laga kar apne saare dard mita doun. Tumhari bahoun mein apni duniya basaa loun".
Kissing his photo she kept it near her heart. "Na chahate huve bhi khud ki kismat ka soch kar dur ho jati houn. Sameer mujhe khud se pyar nahi hai , tumhe kaise pyar kar sakhoungi "
Chod diya humne aitbaar kismat ki lakeeroun pe,
Jo diloun mein bas jayein who lakeroun mein nahi mila karte.
Her thoughts flipped between accepting his love and withdrawing herself from the love he showered.
The next day Sameer was super excited as he would be able to spend the whole day alone with Naina in the office. He planned for a long ride if there was no much work. "Yeh blue shirt tum pe bahut acchi lagti hai, ekdum hero lagte ho" she had said once winking at him. He wore her favorite shirt and took the card to propose her in a formal way. "Madam ko phool dounga toh phir se naaraz ho jayegi , chocolate le leta houn bada wala , waise bhi Dairy milk uska favorite hai". He took another glance at himself in the mirror, taking a deep breath "Chal Beta Sameer jung yeh maidan mein Naina devi ke saath " he chuckled at this thought.
A bit nervously he entered the office around 10.00 am, to his surprise he saw the whole team. Some team members were running around discussing something and some of them sitting at their desks in deep thoughts.
"Good to see you Sameer, all have just come in. We have an urgent production issue. Please see if you can help others with the data to reproduce the issue " Karthik informed as soon as he had placed his foot inside the ODC.
"Sameer beta tu yahan propose karne ka socha raha tha aur yahan kuch aur hi mila. Yeh production issues tere pyar ki programming kharab kar rahein hai. Life of a software engineeer " he sighed and searched for his Naina.
Naina was busy with Sanjay in analyzing the issue. As usual, Sameer felt a twinge of jealousy seeing them together " Jahan mujhe hona chahiye ,Yeh saala Sanjay baita hai. Jab dekho Naina se chipka rehta hai. Saala?? Ek baar Naina maan jayein phir toh sach mein Saala bana lounga..". He walked towards her desk and conveyed his displeasure with his body rather than his voice. Naina looked at his eyes. " Sanjay tum yeh wala issue dekhna lena apne desk pe mai dusra dekti houn "
" Kabhi Kabhi khud bhi solve kiya karo akeeeele.. " he added and stressed a little more on the word akele. Sanjay gave a questioning look and left from there." Yeh tumse itna chipak ke kyun rehata hai ,dekh hai maine tumhe gurte huve " Sameer said with discontentment.
"Sameer yeh office hai, sab yahan kaam karne aate hai .Ab problem hai resolve kar rahe hain ab tum iske saath, uske saath, kyun, kya yeh sawal mat karo. "
Ek baar liya humne Hothoun se aapka naam
Dil hothoun se lad pada ki who sirf mera hai , jab khud se ladta houn toh dusre ka toh mai soch bhi nahi sakta. Possessive to mai houn hi " Sameer replied.
"Thoda Possessive Angry Sameer ko control karke, mujhe yeh issue ko reproduce karne ke liye data do please" she said calmly. Her soothing voice pacified him.
"Thik hai , mai dekhta houn" like a small kid who is denied his favorite chocolate he left from there. "Kya soch ke aaya tha aur kya mil raha hai" . Raising his head upwards " Aap upar bait kar is gareeb aashiq ka mazak uda rahe hai na? . Aaj thoda help kar detein?. Nahi saari ki saari team ko bhej diya. Kebab mein haddi , nahi nahi yahan to Kebab hi nahi hai bas hadiya hai " he complained to God . He locked the card in his drawer and started with the work in hand.
Karthik ordered lunch and dinner for everyone at the desk itself. Sameer ensured Naina ate properly. The team was completely involved in resolving the issues. Around 10.00 at night all the issues reported were fixed and later around 12.00 the business users confirmed everything was fine.
Sameer, as usual, walked along with Naina to her hostel, the twenty-minute walk always soothed the two troubled souls. Their eyes conveyed more than words.
"Aaj aasman mein bahut sitare hai na ? Yeh raat ki khamoshi bahut sukoon de rahi hai." He nodded and smiled looking at her. He didn't try broach on the topic he had in mind but rather thought to just the enjoy these moments with her.
"Tumhe kya pasand hai, yeh raat ka sukoon ya yeh jhilmil sitare aasman mein? she asked looking at the stars.
His delicious chocolate gaze drifted over her face reflectively, bringing a blush to her cheeks.
"Usne pucha kya pasand hai tumhe
Aur mai bahut der tak usse dekhta raha . Tum saath ho toh sab kuch accha lagta hai , tum nahi toh kuch bhi nahi. " he replied fondly.
Not to make her more uncomfortable, he quickly said "Aaj socha tha ki kaam nahi hoga aur dekho poora din isi mein nikal gaya". She nodded and they walked in silence for a few minutes. He searched his pockets and took out the chocolate
"Yeh tumahre liye laya tha " and gave it to her.
"Thanks , aaj bada mann kar raha tha chocolate khane ka " she smiled and took it. She took a bite and then Sameer quickly grabbed it from her and took the bite from where she had eaten.
"Thanks , subah se bada mann kar raha tha, meetha khane ka " he gave a naughty smile to her.
She understood what he meant, but didn't respond or reply to him, but her flushed cheeks conveyed that she had understood what he meant.
Taking a bite of the chocolate from where he had eaten, she said " Pyar toh maine sirf tumse kiya hai,kisi aur se kabhi kar na paoungi, she gave a faint smile and then said "tumhare andaz mein kahun toh
Yeh mat puchna ki tumse kitna pyar kartein hai
Bas itna jaan lo ki bas tumse kartein hai aur bepannah kartein hai"
"Lagta hai aaj baat ban rahi hai" he said to himself controlling his heart which was happily doing somersault hearing it. " Aur...?" he asked her in a hopeful voice.
She gestured him for another bite he just shook and denied with his eyes. The way she ate her chocolate slowly enjoying each and every bite, relishing its taste made his heart flutter. He could see the glimpse of his old Naina. Seeing traces of chocolate stuck at the corners of her mouth, Sameer took out his handkerchief and wiped the corners of her mouth slowly, when he looked into her eyes it wasn't a glance. It was an appraisal. It was a message telling her that he was not going anywhere and would be with her. Naina held her breath and hoped her heartbeat wasn't as loud to him as it was to her. Time stood still like a frozen picture. Once he was done he said in a husky voice
Apne hasin hothoun ko parde mein chupa liya karo
Hum gustak log hai nazaroun se chum liya karte hai
and kissed the kerchief with which he had wiped. She blushed like the moonlight and gnawed on her lower lip. She moved a little towards him to hide her face in his chest. Suddenly she closed her ears and shouted "Nahiii " as the voices "Tu manhus hai, jiske saath bhi rahegi woh tujhe chod jayega , karam jali, kisi ko khushi nahi de sakti " echoed in her mind. She seemed uncertain and scared.
" Kya huva Naina, kyun itni dari huvi ho, batao kya huva . " Sameer was scared to death seeing her face. The answer was almost a sob. He pulled her into a gentle comforting hug. She leaned against his chest for a moment, comforted by his sympathetic embrace. She moved away and they walked again in silence.
"Sameer yeh raat ka sukoon mujhe bahut pasand hai ab toh sitaroun ke jilmilane ki umeed nahi hai. Yeh andhere yeh khamoshi lagta hai meri hi zindagi ke jaise ho gaye ho. Ab is mein roshni ki koi umeed nahi hai. " she sighed and a couple of tears trickled her cheeks.
Cupping her face he wiped those tears " Naina.... " and she stopped him "aaj sirf mujhe bolne do please aaj kuch samjhana nahi mujhe." He closed his eyes to stop the tears that were about to spill and nodded.
" Mai janti houn Sameer jab tum kamzor huve the maine saath nahi diya tha infact hum dono ne ek dusre ki dil ki baat jo bina kahe samaj jate the us waqt nahi samaj payein. Galti sirf tumhari nahi thi Sameer,meri bhi thi. Tum jab zindagi se mayus hoke meri khushi ke liye mujhse dur chale gayein ,mujhe yeh samajna chahiye tha ki tumhara pyar jhoota nahi ho sakta. Mai samaj nahi payi. Khair jo galti huvi uska kuch kar nahi sakte ab aage badhna hai. Jaise mujhe ab pyar karna muskil hai waise hi tumhe kisi aur se pyar karna mushkil hai.
Sameer tried to speak but Naina stopped him. "Plz kehene do, aaj sirf suno". Both had tears remembering those days. She went on
Zindagi ne mere marz ka kuch aisa ilaz bataya,
waqt ko dawa kaha aur Khwaishyoun se parez sunaya
(marz : sickness , ilaz : cure , khwaishyoun : desires , parez : forbidden)
Kabhi Kabhi yeh raat ko dekh ke lagta hai , meri kismat bhi aisi hi hai Mai khasmakash mein houn dil ki suno ya dimag ki. Sameer mai tumse pyar nahi kar sakti, mujhse pyar hoga hi nahi. " with misty eyes she looked up at him. "Pyar tumse sikha hai maine, aur tum kehti ho ki pyar nahi hoga ? Agar bharosa nahi hai khud par toh " his gaze wandered over her face, coming back to her eyes. Holding her hands he moved a little closer. Rubbing the back of her palms with his thumbs he said in a low voice

She pulled her hands "Tum samaj nahi rahe ho Sameer. Ek cheez mangungi doge ?" she asked, her eyes reflecting the pain she was feeling.
"Bas tumse dur jane ke alawa kuch bhi maango " he replied.
"Mujhse baat karna band kardo, aise raho jaise mai houn hi nahi tumhare pass ",she requested
" Naina, yeh kya keh rahi ho. Mai jaanta houn tumhe sab accept karna mushkil hai par please
Tum Naa se kuch aage badho
Mai Haan se kuch piche
Shayad kisi Shayad par kabhi hum mile
itna toh kar hi sakti ho na. Waqt to de hi sakti ho. " he appealed.
"Nahi Sameer, please mujhse nahi hoga yeh rishte mein khud ko dhalna . Mai chaha kar bhi nahi kar paa rahi houn"
With tearful eyes and in a hurtful tone he said
"Tum meri ho jao yeh zidd nahi karunga
Mai Tumhara ho chukka houn yeh haq se kahunga
She looked at him with pleading eyes and said "Ehsaan samaj kar hi karlo ".
He could not see tears in her eyes. "Kya kiya hai tune Naina ko, dekh kaise bikar gayi hai, " his heart screamed with pain.
"Kuch to badla zaroor hai Mai,Tum ya Waqt " he sighed and then replied
Kitni Mohabbat hai tumse yeh safai nahi denge
Saye ki tarah rahenge par dikhayi nahi denge . He promised not to disturb her. They walked in silence till the hostel gate. He looked at her with all the love and said
Aaokat nahi thi zamaane mein hamari kimat lagane ki,
Kambhaqt Ishq mein kya gire muft mein Nilam ho gayein. and never turned back to look at her.
She saw slowly her love diminishing in the darkness, with tears trickling down her cheeks she said sobbing
Palkoun mein Aasoun Aur Dil mein Dard Roya
Hasane wale ko kya pata Rone wala kis kadar Roya
Meri Tanhai ka Aalam wahi jaan sakta hai
