The scene begins with Pancham being sucessful in getting Kamalesh (mausis evil husband) to sighn the divorce papers in the presence of his evil uncle Nimesh.
Then we switch to Nimit (Vasundaras old boyfreind) sowing a seed of doubt in Nimesh's mind that the baby is not his. The exact words goes like this " I would like to come and see my baby whenever I would like to". Thus starts the peevishness of uncle Nimesh. Pancham of course is seen on the other end knowing all and smiling.
Dadi, Tina, and Meera are watching Panhams childhood pictures. The conversations is mainly regarding how much rectitude, and intrepid Pancham had even when he was little. Then they come across a very pretty, dressed up picture of Tina. Looking at the picture, as the lightening strikes, so does an idea strikes Meera. We see her thinking to her herself that "meri Bhaya was also looking for such girl".
Next we see Meera trying to be the matchmaker, and praising Tina in front of he brother. Meera's mother is seen coming in, and being impudent to Panchams family. Meera's brother comes to Panchams house with Meera to meet Tina. Panchams sees through Meera's brother(at this point we know that this guy is mendacious). The brother starts feeling very concious about Pancham staring at him, and tries to be politic. The matchmaking goes to the point where Meera leaves them together in a eating place to talk. Pancham sees his sister with him. and is very upset with Meera. He upbraid's Meera, for which she apologises, and tells him she will not repeat this again. The freindship deepens between the brother and Tina, as we see them talking romantically through the night.
Thought for the day;😳 In the above scene we see Pancham telling Meera the following "The difference between the self and reflection is as follows; self always wants to see what it thinks is right, whereas reflection always gives back the truth" Meera was seeing all goodness in her brother because that is all she wanted to see, whereas pancham being the know it all was seeing the reflection which was not so good, but still the truth.
We see meera and Pancham trying to practice the play as Laila and Majunu. pancham not able to do the romantic scene, tells the director of the play to find someone else for the role. Meera looks dissapointed. The director tells Pancham that it is too late to find someone else. Meera convinces everyone that she will convince, and tutor pancham to do the role.
Pancham goes to vasundahara, and tells her that he is going to help her to get into his uncles house (Nimesh), all she has to do is to listen to him. Vasundhara of course is estactic. Pancham tell her to move into the uncles house. As intrepid as she is vasundhara, is shown entering Namesh's house with all resolute. She is met with resistence by the two brothers and the elder brother's wife. Then of course appears our good old, all knowing Pancham😊 .
He comes not alone but brings the police with him. Miraculously there is a wedding picture of Vasundharas and Nimesh. Lo behold the decision is made by the police that Vasundhara will stay in the house until anything else is proven. Pancham warns the uncles that even if a hair of Vasundhara is harmed, serious action will be taken on all of them.
We see Vasundhara throwing a tantrum regarding the food in the house. She orders chinese, and comments that the food is disgusting. The two brothers,and the bhabhi are deeply worried, and plotting a plan to get rid of vasundhara. We then hear the cryptic laugh. The fatuous brothers recognize it as Pancham laughing! There is a combination of umbrage, anger, and fear in their faces. The mellifluous song in the background goes on--on--Pavitranam sadhunam-----Dharma rakashaya--- peacfulness spreads everywhere---our faces soften with divinity. FREEZE 😊
