His words are great anyway.

Personally, I feel like the chemistry between Imarti/HS and Babes/HS will never be the same. They are two different kind of loves and will hence evoke a different emotion from me. With Imarti/HS, it was fiery, passionate and intense. With Hanita, it's more calm, soothing and has an air like quality. It's 100% like Dheere Jalna. It's slow, but so deep and the intensity is on a different level than Imarti/HS.
I think it's deliberate on the part of the CVs to get us to see that, so that it makes it easier to accept that he loves both women but in different ways and that they can never compare. If he met another person like Imarti we probably won't be able to stop comparing them but with Babita being so different it makes it easier to accept that this is the kind of person he could choose as his life partner at this stage of his life.

Exactly!
That's how I read the chunri scene too. She had the chance to pick her own clothing and just be fully immersed in her own la la land again, but her heart wasn't in it. Her eyes, they weren't searching for just him, but for his advice as well. She wanted his opinion and his say in this. And if we look at it, this was his way of gifting Babes the chunri.
Not how I read it at all. I could be wrong but she went with his choice because that was her expectation of him, that he would help her choose. She didn't get to do her nakhre and shikayatein, laad with Ashok so now she wants the whole works.
Because we are all so consumed by Hanuman's hurt that we tend to ignore Babita...
And yes, she too did what she would probably never have done... she's not the sort... but she went out of her way and out of her character to approach him, to ask his hand... which is all good... but then she needs reassurances too... she wants to be 10 thousand per cent sure that the man she left her ego and her self-respect for, is willing to do the same...
I will say it again, it could have been done a better way... the method was wrong... but maybe the intent wasn't!
Exactly. The intent is understandable, the method not so much.
I was also totally against what he said to her the other day because the intent was understandable but the method not.
I still think he could have found a better way to achieve the same results instead of insulting her as a woman, entrepreneur, and most importantly as a mother when he indicated that Minnie would live like an orphan if Babita didn't start paying attention to her. His words were harsh and cruel even.
Similarly a few weeks ago because of Minnie he had asked Babita to stay away from him and was ignoring her hanky, etc. but he did not insult her. It hurt her enough to want to leave, though and even though I hated seeing Babita upset, I did think that was much better than the recent insult.
Bottom line is, in my case I understand both characters and when I see that they do something wrong I will call them out for it.
Babita had every right to leave the house when she felt her dignity was at stake. Her method was not ok, though because she used the case as an excuse.
Right now HS' biggest flaw, that I can see at least, is his over-protectiveness towards Babita and now Minnie. It's going to hurt them both if he keeps this up because he will be the one to spew venom at some point if his whole Neelkantha analogy is anything to go by.

That's because she is now apne papaji ke rang mein rang gaye. Plus, she has no tall ego unlike her beeji ke bete ki ex wife. 😆
Yes, she saw the nisvarth pyar ka rang that HS has for her. I am so happy for her at least. I still remember how bad those days were when she was going through depression and was unable to handle things. She has calmed down so much under his guidance.

& just when i felt that khatri didn't do much this time ....THUD he is back to being a complete scoundrel.....
Well, you remember the bandar and gulati example that Naeem Bi gave? 😉
Not how I read it at all. I could be wrong but she went with his choice because that was her expectation of him, that he would help her choose. She didn't get to do her nakhre and shikayatein, laad with Ashok so now she wants the whole works.
Is that wrong?
As long as neither of them are hurt in the long run, I don't see why she should be forbidden from wanting all this.

It's not wrong at all. I just meant that she didn't put his choice over her own, that was not the track her mind was on in that scene.
