Great analysis Alisha 👏 & I agree with all of your points. Specially, I like your positive attitude regarding the show. 👍🏼
About overglorification, for me, it was a combination of a few things which looked totally out of the place. First - they didn't show any boundary to Adi's power. Ansh has his weaknesses, Piya has hers. But Adi was shown as a wonder kid who started exhibiting his power at mere 6 months. Not to mention his intellect as he made Mo recall her grandma. 😆 The second thing was Mo's overglorification as a Sarpayan and the introduction of a completely different entity saying a Rakshak is needed.
I would be completely honest here. Usually I don't bother about how much ss my favorite actor/character is getting as long as there is a good story and the ensemble cast get their due. In fact, that's what makes the drama interesting. This might be the only reason that even after 15 years, I am looking forward to Grey's Anatomy's new season.
But all those 3 plots came too early and had no head or tail even if we go by supernatural logic.
Piya became pregnant too early. Then Mo became a Sarpayan which made no sense as a Sarpika's venom is fatal for a Dayanvanshi. Not only that, she was shown to control natural element when Piya got into labor which was a big blow. Then Asuransh came out of nowhere and we assumed Adi to be the protector.
At the end of the day, it's a supernatural show and PiyAnsh being the lead, I wanted to see them kicking some serious demon ass. But they changed all the rules all of a sudden. These things made those tracks unbearable for me.
I agree completely that PiyAnsh did everything in their power to protect Adi. They have been wonderful parents and I loved them for that. Specially Piya went out of her way multiple times to protect Adi, even did a horrible thing (attacking Rahul with her khanjar) just to protect him. Since that track, the balance was restored. We say PiyAnsh fighting against all odds for their kid and some amazing scenes which made it more enjoyable.
I have no problem with RiAd fighting BhasMo. But it's hard to imagine PiyAnsh not participating in the war. Like in the Pralay Yudh, I loved how each element and everyone played their part. And ultimately Goddess Mahakali appeared to destroy the evil.
When there is a Daivik, whose sole purpose is the destruction of evil, you can't help but imagine her to do the honors.
Plus Piya has been my favorite character due to her flaws and emotions. So I guess I become a bit biased and want her in everything. 🤔 That's why I still want her to fight BhasMo fiercely along with RiAd and Ansh.
About her confrontation with Ansh, I am not eager for their reunion but I definitely want them to have a conversation and repentance from Ansh. There are a lot of things they can do without fighting and I am completely invested in that.
I just want to see a balanced situation where nobody - be it Bhas or Mo or RiAd are given undue importance.
