Even I am hopeful about the audience's response.😈

And yes, the worst dip in the trp was during the Mayara track. It just dipped from 1.9 or so to 1.4 or maybe even less... Although, I don't remember correctly.

The trp has dropped... But, as I have said before, during the initial days ie pre and post Piansh marriage, the trp used to be close to 2. But, now, it barely reaches 1.6 or so.

So, whatever happens, trp is the boss...

And yes, kids are cute but as you said, they can't run the show forever with Piansh still there.

New episodes are interesting but not as much as the initial episodes. This is true for American shows too. The charm that attracts us in the beginning slowly starts to wear off and the show starts to look monotonous.

I know that. And that is why I prefer to watch old episodes only. As for the new episodes, I'll watch if Bh targets the Gathods instead of Adi... Although, I highly doubt she'd do such a thing soon.

Nazar has lost its charm... It was the most unique show when it began with the concept of the 3d's. But, now... The 3d's seem to be a history.

Nikki & Nushy

Too many posts to respond to so i'll merge all my replies in this one ! So basically we are talking about 3 points

1) Overglorification of Riad

First & Second Season Ansh was the damsel while Piya took the lead. Second season with Sarpika's entry Piya gave Modil some serious ass whoping.

Season 3 beginning Piya was the damsel & Ansh took the lead this time. Right throughout Piya's pregnancy & after giving birth Ansh fiercely protected her against Mo till the 6 months leap.

Then after that Adi's powers began to emerge. The only part i see where the overglorification tag fits is pertaining to Adi's powers. He had too many powers just like Baby Jack ( Incredibles) There were no set limits to his powers. Apart from his role in fulfillment of Mo's end by horse riding and the zombie train Maha epi I've not seen anwhere where Adi was overglorified. Neither have i seen Piansh taking a backseat anywhere. Throughout the Mo prophecy track right till Season 5 when Adi turned Jalpari and Kohra came I've seen them fiercely protecting their son and fighting the baddies without Adi's help.

In the Pralay Yudh both Ansh & Piya did justice in their role as Daivik & Davansh. They fought well even when outnumbered. So i don't see a problem in Season 9 if Riad took centre stage. My point is the heroes of each season keep changing...

Nikki you did not discuss Riad with me I think u confused my reply to Nushy.

Nushy i thought u meant you found it too dangerous for kids to perform stunts & fight baddies. That's why i cited kid shows in the past as examples. I did not understand your point earlier my mistake. You objected to their being overglorified while Piansh took backseat...

2) Piansh taking a backseat

You guys are concerned about this. Your concerns are valid. We don't know tho what will happen in future tracks. It's too early to predict. Still it's fun to speculate. I'd like to add my two cents here.

As I've observed so far both Ansh & Piya haven't failed in their duties as parents.

Piya despite taking some questionable decisions has done everything in her power to keep Pari safe, happy & secure. She didn't bring her bitterness with Ansh in bringing up Pari. I mean she didn't poison her against her father ( a plus point) & mentioned her brother. She changed Pari's school to separate from AdiAnsh ergo Bh Mo. Even tho she was processing Pari's Daayan powers she's done her best to help her daughter through this. When she went for the job interview she left her daughter in Guruma's care little knowing that Pari can jump buildings to go to Adi.

If Pari goes Daayan fighting without her knowledge it's not her fault. It's won't be because of a lack on Piya's parenting skills.

Likewise Ansh though a bad husband is not a bad father or a neglectful parent. As a single parent he has brought up Adi admirably. He too has not taken advantage of his bitterness with Piya to poison his son against his mom. He's done everything possible to take care of Adi's needs keep him safe and happy. He considered marriage to Bh for Adi's sake tho he was not ready, when he found out that his son was uncomfortable he broke it off. When he realised his son needed his mom he put aside his differences to go to Piya. That his heart got stomped on at the last second is not his fault. I mean which person in the world will be eager to meet their ex when they just learnt they remarried that too with a kid. That's human nature.

Yes he didn't believe Adi when he mentioned Bh the dragon. But whenever Adi's mental state was brought up he chose to believe his own son. He refused to send Adi to boarding school. He even refused to bow down to pressure to marry Bh accepting Adi's wishes. That his own son is under attack from Bh that i don't blame him for. It's happens even to the best of parents. They aren't superhuman they make mistakes too. Ansh if he knew would roast Bh alive Davansh or no !!

Plus we need that loophole for Adi to search for Pari. Think about it if Piya knew what Pari was upto and Ansh knew Bh was torturing Adi would Pari & Adi meet ?? Would they get a chance to bond ?? "or" to find their inner strength and have adventures against Dragon lady ??

Piyansh have to back off for Riad to happen !! That's only possible if they are unaware. So some loopholes have to be there.

Coming to their roles in this i don't see them reprising their role of Daivik & Davansh but i see a different drama for them. It may not be a superpower one but an equally important one. An emotional drama that is center to this story. Repentance, Mu , character growth, reunion of Piansh with family. That's the main one don't u think ?

I like ur post very positive and i agree too many abuses and only negative comments sometimes spoil our mood to discuss on forum also. I am also excited to see future tracks but the problem is its slowness and i am very impatient so i will give it a break then again swallow all episodes in one go. I will try Binge watching Nazar and if i like that i will stick to that formula only. I think after PL-Ansh marriage track this is the longest separation of PiAnsh , even Trishanku lok track is smaller than this. Riad adventures will be funny no doubt but without Adi powers it sounds boring , can i say that nowdays makers are bored with Adi powers also and now doing over glorification of Pari powers.

Great analysis Alisha 👏 & I agree with all of your points. Specially, I like your positive attitude regarding the show. 👍🏼

About overglorification, for me, it was a combination of a few things which looked totally out of the place. First - they didn't show any boundary to Adi's power. Ansh has his weaknesses, Piya has hers. But Adi was shown as a wonder kid who started exhibiting his power at mere 6 months. Not to mention his intellect as he made Mo recall her grandma. 😆 The second thing was Mo's overglorification as a Sarpayan and the introduction of a completely different entity saying a Rakshak is needed.

I would be completely honest here. Usually I don't bother about how much ss my favorite actor/character is getting as long as there is a good story and the ensemble cast get their due. In fact, that's what makes the drama interesting. This might be the only reason that even after 15 years, I am looking forward to Grey's Anatomy's new season.

But all those 3 plots came too early and had no head or tail even if we go by supernatural logic.

Piya became pregnant too early. Then Mo became a Sarpayan which made no sense as a Sarpika's venom is fatal for a Dayanvanshi. Not only that, she was shown to control natural element when Piya got into labor which was a big blow. Then Asuransh came out of nowhere and we assumed Adi to be the protector.

At the end of the day, it's a supernatural show and PiyAnsh being the lead, I wanted to see them kicking some serious demon ass. But they changed all the rules all of a sudden. These things made those tracks unbearable for me.

I agree completely that PiyAnsh did everything in their power to protect Adi. They have been wonderful parents and I loved them for that. Specially Piya went out of her way multiple times to protect Adi, even did a horrible thing (attacking Rahul with her khanjar) just to protect him. Since that track, the balance was restored. We say PiyAnsh fighting against all odds for their kid and some amazing scenes which made it more enjoyable.

I have no problem with RiAd fighting BhasMo. But it's hard to imagine PiyAnsh not participating in the war. Like in the Pralay Yudh, I loved how each element and everyone played their part. And ultimately Goddess Mahakali appeared to destroy the evil.

When there is a Daivik, whose sole purpose is the destruction of evil, you can't help but imagine her to do the honors.

Plus Piya has been my favorite character due to her flaws and emotions. So I guess I become a bit biased and want her in everything. 🤔 That's why I still want her to fight BhasMo fiercely along with RiAd and Ansh.

About her confrontation with Ansh, I am not eager for their reunion but I definitely want them to have a conversation and repentance from Ansh. There are a lot of things they can do without fighting and I am completely invested in that.

I just want to see a balanced situation where nobody - be it Bhas or Mo or RiAd are given undue importance.

I can now say one thing that may be we will not get passionate story now, but whenever i feel bored or need relaxation RiAd will relax me and makes me laugh at their antics.I am now no more interested in Rathores drama as i have seen enough of them . My main decision of now binge watching this show Nazar is because everyday i will get only 10-12 min of Riad but when i will watch together some episodes i will enjoy RiAd more and for longer time. and without getting frustrated or any cliffhangers. Nowdays mainly Cliffhangers are disturbing my mind .🤢It seems past is repeating itself and same PL-Ansh marriage track is repeating with new vamp and change is only siblings in picture.

And Finally....

3) Reasons to watch this show

For me it was the opposite. I used to watch it daily minus a few tracks Daivik vs Davansh,Back to the past, Piansh consumation ... Post leap it's been on & off.

Fast pace, no kitchen politics, 10% drama and 90% action got me hooked. Ved's terrible hamming and Ansh Oedipus complex irked me. Initially when they showed Mo i was like too many reaction shots, yeh kya show hai ?? I was depressed with Ruansh marriage and his being hypnotized. Then Mo came out of the box and stayed with her chutki. I became fascinated with this new character. A villain with shades of humaness. The fight scenes, the vfx , all that wall tree climbing NiSa's inventions etc. Because of that i stayed. Then i started rooting for Mo because of the mommy angle. When they took that away it was too late i was aldready on Mo's side. It helped she had a continuous winning streak the Rathores in comparison were 🙄 what to say... Plus she was a hoot. Complete entertainment for me. smiley2

FF to now its Riad, Dilman, Team R complete with laboratory, Bhasmo... Yup the current track is super boring but I'm waiting for it pick up pace. And it will.

I don’t know about Piansh’s passionate story but did u see that flashback scene with the jhumka’s & potted plants. That was some serious crackling chemistry going on there. I loved how that scene was bathed in a soft light. And that whole shot looked magical
