Has BW gotten worse or better?

Throughout the years, how do you think bollywood has progressed or not content wise and acting talent wise.

Worse in the sense we dun have much good actresses today

Better in terms of storytelling...

But all in all standard is going down, our industry is known for music and we dun compose anymore..we chunk it out

Much much worse compared to the noughties.

Before we had Madhuri / Aishwarya for Beauty-today not a single girl can be their toenail. People call them bad actresses but compared to the current crap, they are superior even in acting.

If not we had other strong actors like Rani. Whose the best we have today? Alia?

Dancing has gone downhill too!

worse.....there is too much preaching, political correctness in the movies...entertainment factor has gone down.....BW movies used to be an escape medium after the day to day monotonous life...u go watch a movie and its living ur life all over again....either that....or there are stupid movie..

Content wise- better

Music wise - absolutely worse🤢

Acting talent-Worse because of nepotism

Same hi hai, pehle bhi some good movies along with 100 shit movies banti thi.

ab bhi wohi hai. pehle music directors chori karne gaane banate the, ab remix karte hai.

Acting wise bhi same hai, average to shite actors were huge stars, while good actors are doing stuffs nobody watches.

Better in terms of concept

Worst in terms of performances, we don't have many good actors left tbh

It has definitely gotten better content and story telling wise. Now, many good actors are there in young generation and they are all doing good work.

Also, big thing is Audience is more open minded. For example: Guzaarish flopped in 2010. But Super 30 worked. And that is primarily bcoz Audience now is willing to give a chance to different film genres and subjects. So, Actors can also take risks and experiment without that much fear of BO.

Only negative thing is we are yet to find decent actresses who have the appeal of a Ash or Kareena or Deepika or Kat in the younger generation

Better in terms of concept and content especially for taboo topics and portrayal of women.

In terms of creativity, BW has gone downhill.

No good music- all are either unnecessary sounds or remixes (Neha kakkar). If that's not enough there hundreds of different version keep releasing on youtube either by same singer or dhvani bhanushali. At times unplugged version or acoustic blah blah. Nothing original or unforgettable.

No good romantic movies

No good comedy movies

Lack of talent- Actors are still better but all we have in actress is Alia Bhatt. If not acting, then glamour and sex quotient aspect is also missing. None of the actresses have appeal to stand out.

Unforgettable dances: No hook step, No set choreography. All we got stunts in the name of dance from tiger shroff.

BW is a big circus. The aura and mystery related to BW actors are fading hence no surprises. It all about marketing and propagating certain agendas through a movie or an interview. BW is so predictable. It's no more an entertainment industry.
