Folks, all of you talked about Age gap romance. Not everyone gets it correct, but Rishabh Prerna in this season have got it sorted. Their equation is interestingly balanced! I like how unsettled Bajaj is sometimes in front of her. Being the elder one itās difficult to apologise. In reality, no matter how wrong they may be, when you reach a certain age apology is less verbose as compared to when you are young. To top it up, he is Bajaj- who we see most of the time unapologetic and ruthless!
At certain situations, Bajaj is like how an elder should be! Poised and always having that sense of security. Never rattled and ranting. His character is very well thought out. And his dialogues! The dialogue writer is Raghuveer Shekhawat and @Ramya you know how talented he is.
@misshumptydumpty I read somewhere that you cannot ship PreRish as a couple. They are still not there. I totally agree with you without any doubt, I am not a Pre Rish shipper myself. They arenāt there yet. We see sparks in their conversations not those typical ones which leave you dizzy and breathless but like embers in a fireplace. Slowly warming up and glowing at the slightest gust of wind. (No pun intended for the ghastly Kolkata fireplace at Bajajs place. Itās effin Kolkata and no oneās had a fireplace like in centuries. Itās so brazenly hot and humid throughout the year.)
Coming back to Prerna and Rishabh, they are much more meaty and have a great story to offer. Personally, I love Anupre as a couple but their story didnāt excite me. Part of it is to be blamed on my love for Parth whose portrayal of Anurag is exceptional. He has come a long way from only eye rolls as Manik in KYY.
Apologies, I tend to digress very often. Coming back to the moot point. Unrequited love, it is in both the cases but Rishabh and Prernaās journey is interesting, almost like a crystal maze where they both are entangled and clueless that it was destiny that they met.
Rishabh might be a blackmailer-TRUE but who isnāt in this world? We all use manipulations, gimmicks and what not to get ahead in life. Some people are pure evil and some tread the grey line. Bajaj did tread the grey line and who cares if he did. Thereās a journey every individual takes and his journey of remorse will begin sooner or later. Thereās nothing called whitewashing. He is just human- so is Anurag and Prerna. They all have their shortcomings and strengths. Itās about their journey!
