This episode had so many parallels and subliminal messages! Kudos to the writers!

Also the way NB narrated what happened to Sartaj Singh - she captured the essence of both HS and his FIL's feelings, while showing her own and painting us a picture of those events. Very well done!

There's so much I want to write about this episode, but I am too tired after work today so will probably do a long post at some other point.

Highlights for me were all the HS and Minnie scenes + all the stuff HS and Lala discussed, which was really awesome.

HS feeling that it would be unfair to expect Babita to accept him with his past, with Imarti, and Lala saying he already had.

the rejection which babita keeps repeating in her mind are the hurtful words he told her that night previously. Even mini knows hanuman did that on purpose to push her away because of the case. he did not actually insult her with his heart. how does babita fail to interpret that?

If she was confused and stepping back regarding hanumans love for imarti due to which no one else is in his heart, if she really is important in his life, i would understand that. But here she is not even introspecting why he spoke to her like that. And even mini is not telling.

For hanuman the past has opened up with this case. And he suddenly has been filled with memories of imarti, he is now doubtful if he can erase those memories enough to give babita what she deserves. He now thinks he made a mistake by involving babita in all this.

I remembered these lines for HS and Babes..this is from a famous ghazal..

Dil e barbaad se Nikla nhi ab tak koi

I loved that line!

The trio had already started to consider each other as family but with this line it was fully cemented. Minnie had equated themselves to holding the same position in HS' life as Imarti had. All HS has to now do is accept and believe it.

This was the first time he reached out for support. Normally Minnie hugs him or holds his hand, but this time he held hers, taking in her healing touch. Oh how lonely he has been, poor man!

When Minnie caressed his cheek, I was hoping Babes would also reach forward and hold him from the other side. Alas, it's too early for that. But one day!

Just as Babita felt that HS and his love were too good to be true, could life be that merciful towards her, etc. on some level HS has also felt that having Minnie and Babita as his family is almost too good to be true. Was he deserving of it?

She didn't but she signaled Minnie to go and comfort him. Minnie is the glue that binds them.

I was just thinking, this is one show where the ML cries as much as the female lead, if not more.

I don't think there has ever been a single emotion that was shown too excessively. We, on the other hand, well, mauka milte hi, we cry zor daar se. 😆
