Let's give credit where its due Ashish V stole d show in LION KING

if we stop acting as blind fans and watch the film with a neutral view in its hindi version. The best performance has come from : No doubt Ashish Vidhyarti as Scar..

and here's is what I think and why.

Ashish totally gets into the character of scar, given the animals have barely expressions to show on the face, he successfully brings out the fear the character has, even though he is older and weak.

he has been given the best dialogues in the film, it seems like Disney now pays extra attention to the dialogues given to the villians make them sound greyer than evil (ex-thanos in avengers) some of the dialogues are indeed corny. but most of them are top-notch.

There is a new interesting angle where they showed that Scar was in love with Sorabi but she chose Musafa over him. this was not in the original, and this gives scar another dimension for wanting to become the king of pride rock.

To give credit to SRK he's good this time, i never expected coz he was really bad in incredibles. the voice artist for Nala is really good too and Aryan too is impressive. Asrani shreyas and sanjay mishra stands out in their parts. But ashish should get away with all the accolades.

Ashish V has always been a great great actor, he always shines in whatever roles given, sad that he has been typecast but can deffo do any role given him with great ability. He is just one among many fantastic actors like renuka shahanes husband who just do not get enough opportunities.

a villian in a movie needs to be enough powerful to leave an impression..i usually avoid hindi dubbed versions because they are usually lame, the dialogues are laughable and they r not even in sync sometimes..

but recently i watched the dubbed version of the insistance...and i whole heartedly agree..this is ashish vidhyarthi's first job as a voiceover artist and i have to admit he has done a splendid job. the closest that comes to him are asrani and shreyas because they come close to their characters

and SRK as mufassa is getting appreciation because he's SRK i don't think anyone wld hv bothered if he was dubbed by regular voice over artists like rajesh khatter.

so yeah i agree with u on ashish's part. it just shows how refined is he as an an actor which separates the actor from being a star.
