Babita walked off just because he had told her harsh words the night before. She didn't even think what HE was going through. Very easily disbelieved him and chose to run at the earliest. That what Mini told her too. She runs away from ordeals. I agree with every word of Mini's - that relieves me that CVs know what they're doing and don't have different perceptions. Babita is weak. Cannot decide. Cannot prioritize.

There's perhaps just one defence for her - that she didn't know the case was reopened. Still, it doesn't suffice, I know. She immediately left him, seeing the path clouded with uncertainty.

I think CVs have to redeem her. If Mini forces this thought into her, of coming back and supporting him, there's no point to it, as Gur said.

I totally totally agree.

I am taking a moment to reflect on the fact that this show was supposed to be about Patiala Babes and here we are fighting for HS' happiness. 😆

I understand the CVs don't want to show a mahaan FL, which is fine. They can't show her being selfish and self-centered forever, can they? She has to remain relatable.

Someone was talking about Minnie having a fight response and Babita having a flight response when facing trouble. HS had once told Babita that if she wanted Minnie to get well she had to be strong and change herself. Granted, HS is around to mentor Minnie but as a mother, what example is Babita setting for her by behaving this way?

All this grief needs to be purged from his soul before he can do anything constructive for his new family at all. Forget Babita, he's even afraid if he can be a good father to Minnie and fulfill his duties. He is really afraid she will be hurt by what is about to happen.

There is a very good reason he told Minnie that could not love anyone like that anymore, not even Babita or anyone else, meaning Minnie. She saw right through it, of course, and she hated seeing him suffer.

I want to say something that might offend some but I feel it's important.

Minnie was screaming out loud that she could not bear the pain of seeing him suffer, reciprocating what HS felt seeing his daughter in pain. Also, HS' heart has always bled for Babita when she has suffered but I do not see her feel that way when he suffers. It's still about her feelings, her emotions, her hurt.

Have we ever seen Babes wanting to know more about HS? I mean, Minnie has straight up asked him so many personal things and that's why their bond is as strong as it is. But Babes? Has she ever approached him and asked him things? Even mundane things like things from his childhood, or foods that he likes. She learns all these things through Naeem Bi which was fine to an extent but now when she has claimed that she had moved on from Ashok, she should be able to act on it. There shouldn't be a fear of "log kya kahenge" because who's gonna barge through their doors to find out what they're saying?

I'm hopeful that they will make up for it.

Paridhi too said it'll all be okay soon.

No, she doesn't. I don't think she will any time soon.

Of course, It will be ok because as per the norms of the serial world it has to. Must be something convincing. I want to see her take a firm stance for her own happiness, to make up her mind about HS and do the right thing for her, for Minnie, and especially for him. Otherwise, after a point it's not HS we'd be comparing to Ashok, but Babita.

Even in those comic asides to the camera when she was chatting with Bill, he was saying that she did not understand his pareshaani. Loaded with meaning.

Yeahh, and Minnie is the only willing one thus far but HS won't share because of her age. But Babes toh kar sakti thi.

HS can't even complain about her not taking any interest in him. If she isn't, then she isn't. He can't force her to and even if he does, what's the guarantee that she'll be listening to him whole heartedly?

She needs to not develop a genuine interest in him but also act upon them.

You said it!

Even when she cooked those vegetables for him after NB's hints, and he was unable to eat because he was too drunk, she lost her temper and dumped it in the sink. Come on!

HS has been the epitome of a ML on TV. Like really, he keeps filling me with awe and wonder time and again. I love him more and more with each passing day.

I never felt like fighting for Babita's happiness cause there were many people to fight for her. I've never felt 'bad' for them, except when she was forced to move out of her brother's house.

But now I'm feeling that HS' love and faith and commitment has not been met with. I am feeling terrible for him. The more I think about him the more I miss Imarti and the more I understand what she was to him.

Exactky, Babita has to remain relatable. Right now, I can't relate to her.

Bold - reminded me of Kulreja/Manmeet track when HS was literally begging to her, to complain yet she was thinking of alternatives. He told her that day, she's making Mini weak by setting wrong examples. And she could see Mini crying and ashamed.

The only saving grace is CVs call out and point out Babita's shortcomings, where and when they arise. This time was no different.

@bold exactly!
He can't demand or expect anything because he doesn't want to disappoint himself, she hasn't given him any rights anyway. He knows she's too busy with herself and that she never gave him an official green light. On what basis will he go and show his various shades to her and not the bits and pieces as she accused him? 😡

Oh yeah, don't even remind me of the number of times she refused to file an FIR for stupid reasons.

Yes, CVs do point this out because they want to give the audience a message that this type of behavior, in the name of "sanskaar", "bhartiya naari", conservative mindset, etc. is detrimental if not displayed correctly. Which makes me think they've done all this on purpose so that they can show some growth in Babita.

The other day we were all a bit surprised when she told Minnie that she understood he had some pain in his heart and that she couldn't erase Imarti's memories. Now we understand that she is actually quite far from understanding him or his state of mind. Pehel to usko karni padegi. HS is hurting too much right now.

I agree with you that I have always felt bad for him from day 1, especially after learning about what Imarti was like. How does he even get over THAT?

Totally true!

She's still very much a kid. Someone had said, she's never got to be a kid, but that ain't reason enough. Hahaha.

She needs to stand up. This track better be about Babita's concern and care for HS.

That man is suffering for God's sake. And Mini's/NB's support won't be enough at all!

I understand Babita's hesitation but come on! You were assaulted and a horrible crime was committed against your daughter and yet you want to do nothing? If not yourself, at least think about Minnie. Bechari ki buri halat hogayi thi and she still wanted to keep her quiet because of "log kya kahenge". Just eff the log man. There always going to find one reason or another to talk. So does that mean you're just gonna stop living? Or suffer everything quietly? If that was the case then she could have just stayed at home with the Khuranas when Ashok brought Meeta.

It's ridiculous. Sometimes she makes huge bounds in her character and other times she falls back so hard.
