I liked how P received his thank you. Seems like they have put the past hurts behind and moved on a little. KuKi is their priority and they are making it work for her.

Often, when we know in our hearts that something doesn’t belong to us, we try to reiterate, reaffirm and say it aloud to feel the belonging. For a man who claims that he has a heart but listens to his mind, it seems that his reiterating Prerna with a raised eyebrow is his poetic reiteration of what his heart knows isn’t his! His mind tells him that she is the wife but the heart knows she isn’t!

That’s what his constant emphasis on ‘Prerna-wife’ is always about. I wish this wasn’t an Ekta show!

The build up is slow, like cutting through glacial layers of Bajaj’s heart. What could have led this man to become what he is today? As cold as ice, devoid of warmth. Could Prerna really be the ice hammer that is slowly breaking the chinks of his armour. Is it Prerna, the mother or Prerna the girl? Whoever that is, the heart beats for sure, the voice might not be loud but the muffled rhythm does make its presence felt, every now and then. Who could be such a tone deaf creature? We all have the same body chemistry. Sometimes, you just need the right trigger to change everything around.
