If she is so objectionable about plastic bags, then why does she use leather bags?

Leather bags are made after 'slaughtering animals' as per her definition, but she still keeps using them.🤪 Double standard isn't it?😛

P.S. I know that leather bag has nothing to do with the environment, but being a strict animal lover she should avoid using it.

If the product is not securely packaged then customers will get upset. Anyway, there are many alternatives to plastic airbags like crumpled paper, corrugated cardboard, etc. But the big problem in India is not "garbage" but "how people dispose of garbage."

Many plastic products are recyclable. There are many plants that recycle and repurpose plastic. Companies like Rothys recycle plastic in footwear.

And it is not just plastic. Some natural products also harm oceans and waterways. Foods safe for human consumption can be toxic to marine flora and fauna. Nitrates and phosphates can cause harmful algae blooms that make fish and shellfish toxic for consumption.

Unless Indians change how they dispose garbage aka don't throw garbage in gutters, beaches, or wherever - reducing plastic is just performative.
