She admits she throws away the plastic bags she receives from grocers bcz she says recycling is tough in New York

( Why doesn’t she opt for paper bag, or carry her own bag to the store in the first place.)

Yeah here basically I demonstrated that how contradictory she is to her own statement, talks about animal cruelty and after then carries stuffs that are made from animals. While the Hollywood celebrities that are associated with Peta are super careful regarding carrying or wearing products made with leather/fur.

I've mentioned about leather bag coz Mira preaches vegetarianism by claiming herself to be an animal lover who is totally against animal-slaughtering. Hence she should avoid using leather bags too as they come from animal skins mainly. Otherwise she is getting contradictory to her own statement.

Tired of these celebrities (including environmentalist hipster Anushka) hijacking serious societal issues and turning them into pr stunts. I will take these celebrities and rich wives seriously when I see them doing some community service work, offering hours of volunteering, donating their money to finance environmental projects, stop buying highly polluting super cars, etc.

Why does she use Amazon in the first place, a company known for their labor law mishaps. Does she think Amazon or their partners care? Everything starts with education and the community. If she bought more from local stores this would not happen - she would bring her own basket and she would cause less harm to the environment without the shipping. And using a Range Rover with chauffer in a highly polluted city is not environmentally friendly either.

IF is more fake than all Bollywood celebs put together..if forum's laadlas would've said the same thing they would be hailed and put on a pedestal. Pooja hoti unki. Just coz it is Mira she has to be criticized..pata nahi usne kya bigaada hai kisika..she gets so much unnecessary hate.

What she said is true.. online sellers use a hell lot of plastic airbags even when it's not needed..even if the items r totally unbreakable..even Amazon pantry uses airbags...that too for grocery. It has to stop. I even signed n online petition regarding this.
