I remember Sony taking a risk with KRPKAB too and standing by the PH as long as it could. That show was also quite different and it took a bit of time before becoming massively popular.
PB took less time to become popular and has maintained the same tone and style more or less. I really hope this experience encourages others to come up with good content.
Exactly. Sony has recognized it's potential. They won't let it go so easily.
KRPKAB is a very good example yeah.
I don't have the numbers and it was a big mistake to bring this up here because it seems like I'm comparing, which I'm not. I'm talking about the narrative style taking a bit of time because it was so different from the typical shows at that time but once people got used to it they loved it. I was not referring to the rating aspect itself.
Did not mean to offend anyone.
No no, you did not offend anybody. In fact I would take the example of Yeh Moh Moh ke dhaage. That one show which did not do well at all. Its trp was always below 0.5. But, somehow it ran for a year. I wonder how 🙄
