i believe he/she is refering to the method of acting..which many 90s actors never reinvent..madhuri still acts like 90s..she could not reinvent herself like sridevi who despite being from the same era totally reinvented herself and her way of acting to suit today's times..more natural..less dramatic..as seen in EV etc

What the heck???? Why r u bringing Madhuri in and dragging her name like this?? Who told u no one cares??? And is there anything she can't do??? She proved it!!!! Ask any director or actor..she is inspiration to every actress of now..She is an icon and has most followers of old era..Sridevi's last 2 movies became hit only bcos they are family roles and she played mother...Madhuri played different movies in her comeback and during the time she played them..audience still didn't accept diff. movies like now..

The Avatar related claims were bizarre. And if he was joking, which hopefully he was, then it’s kind of telling that his jokes didn’t translate as a joke.

Govinda’s main issue IMO is that he is in denial about his age and the changing times. He wants his glory days of 90s back. He’s old, out of shape, and even his face hasn’t aged as well as some of his other contemporaries, yet he still wants to play a hero who romances young girls. He also seems to lack tact. He’s burnt a lot of bridges and doesn’t know how to be diplomatic about things, which is crucial at any time but specially when you are down. He got opportunities with different type of roles in KilDil and Happy Endings and yes those movies flopped but that wasn’t on him. He could have cashed in on those exposures to start a fresh and reinvent himself but again, he wants his glory days back. He was offered the role of Alia’s father in Shandaar but refused it because he didn’t want to play a father.

he accepted the father role in jagga jazoos but they were replaced him. maybe time is also not in his favour.
