Besides, who cares if people know or don't. I know about it and I love it. 🤩

This is cute. Jo is one of my favorite fictional characters ever. 💚 Along with Lizzie Bennet and Margaret Hale.

Thanks😳 Lizzie Bennet was another great character. I had a little difficulty with the language of Pride and Prejudice, though. I need to read the Margaret Hale one.

I'm 76% like Jo March from Little Women. Hence, it's my username as well.😳

Jo was supposed to be the heroine in the book..but I hated her when she married that older German doctor. Amy was supposed to be vain and spiteful too if I remember correctly (read the book aeons ago in junior school) but she grew up to be this gracious and kind lady....uh and she married that rich guy who was after Jo. I always liked Amy after that...No excess self sacrificing for me da...🥺

I think I am just odd. Wish I could find someone who is like me and understands me one day, more than 1 person so we can commune.

But I've identified with both male and female characters in movies. I wanted to be Rambo and Terminator...Rocky theme music is still my favourite workout music...I also really wanted to be like Amrish Puri's villain character with his gang and all in so many movies....female character wise I've most identified with the heroine of Northanger Abbey...yes actually mostly her..in reality...that's What I am most like.

Oh well, as a reader I hated that too. But I kind of see it now. Jo marries Professor Bhaer as she was attracted to his intellect and his humble nature. She turns down Laurie because she did not love him in a romantic way. It's said this book is Ms Alcott's semi-autobiographical account of her childhood. This is what she wrote once- “Girls write to ask who the little women marry, as if that was the only aim and end of a woman’s life. I won’t marry Jo to Laurie to please anyone.”

Lol As a reader however, I'll always be team Laurie.😆
