i honestly could have digested the Gen leap, especially ly knowing the nature of ITV but i too thinking the casting wasn't right in terms of the girls. i've already mentioned it numerous times. i don't have problem with the actresses themselves, i just don't think they are suitable for the characters they are playing. Mughda is an amazing actress and i wish she had chosen a better project to come back with. Her potential isn't being utilized here.

i have no comments on Naina Singh, i've never seen her work before but i do think she just can't do justice to Rhea's character. There is just way too much OTTness there.

honestly, i think the show would have progressed much better if they had shown the girls as teenagers. they could have still done alot of what they are trying to do now, including a romantic angle but could have focused more on Abhi and Pragya actually dealing with things together instead of being repeatedly seperated. So much for Bhagya unting them when it's supposedly always seperating them. (I don't think that's true, it's mainly Abhi's thickheadedness that seperates them. He's always treated Pragya like a rag doll. Throws it away, then misses it and finds it again then repeat cycle. *Rollingeyes.

I agree with what someone said earlier in this thread. i kind of wish they had at least one boy so Abhi wouldn't be the only guy among all the girls and have some sort of a competition. Pragya's upbringing with a boy could have shown a contrast to Abhi, shown him what he should have been instead of how he is or at least given a character that was truely sincere to Pragya and could stand up to Abhi.

Both of the girls are essentially fighting over Abhi as Tanu was fighting for Abhi before, only difference is that the girls are fighting over their father.

it's as though Abhi is a rare diamond or something, when he isn't even close. I love Abhi and Pragya but i can admit it's because of Shabir and Sriti. There are plenty of good traits in Abhi but his stupidity over shadows them most of the time. Like my blood still boils when i hear some of the dialogues again and think of the plot line.

That however is the Cv's fault for not giving Abhi a better character arc.

I mean insaan kabhi na kabhi toh apni galatiyon se sikh ta hai. 30 or so years and he's essentially still where he was.

@misfit, ha, ha. Earlier I too used to think on these lines - I mean learning from mistakes. But certain instances which has made me observe people in close range has suggested otherwise. They r portraying Abhi correctly in that there ARE MEN WHO blindly will support their own flesh than the woman who came after marriage. I don't know if it'd go as far as murder as here.

And yes, as for fighting for father is plain disgusting though it is shown as Rhea who is doing that most of the time. I wish the story move forward, angles covered, the couple meet, all loopholes covered and Prachi taking over the business empire and happy ending. But don't think that's gonna happen. Considering that it is conniving and more conniving as in the past five years.

As for Naina Singh, I am not against her personally, but her screeching is putting me down. I cannot bear to see her scenes only because I am afraid she'd start screaming again. Wish the director asked her to tone that down. It's after all a director's call.

Anyway, of late only watching for Mugdha, because no matte what she gives her best. The day they make her sati savitri like Pragya, it's good bye for me. I'll read WU or u guys' comments here. But I cannot digest more Indianness.
