I am not happy with this reason. Revenge could have added a whole new arc to his dark character & they had brought it as well & Sneha-Prerna would perfectly fit in that story. The plot could have been more thrilling that way. But it's too much to expect the thrill from writers of the show.

Can't it be both ?? Jise kehete hai ek teer se do nishana .. He took his revenge from Basus and got a loving mother for his child , who's a special care child , therefore needs a gentle and loyal soul to nurture her.

I'm really quite ashamed that some people are calling Prerna Sneha's Nanny . Those are the same people who called Ishita a dai or aya for Ruhi , when they shared a truly ruhani or soul bond and Ishita was the best example of motherhood. Let's not forget Prerna is Mrs Bajaj now , so by default her lawfully wedded husband's children are hers as validated by legal , social and moral terms . His children are now her responsibility too and she's their mother. Agar nurag ka pichle koi shadi se ek bachha hota aur Prerna uss bachhe ko apna leti to ye log Prerna kya tabh bhi Nanny kehete , I wonder ...... Well , I know the answer.

So , any one but birth mother is Nanny or Governess ?? So Yashoda was Krishna's Nanny I guess !

This kind of thinking makes me wonder what does people understand by the word motherhood , what is their definition of it . For them , all the people who adopts children are probably care takers of those children I guess.

Listen to taunting aunty without talking back to set a good example to Sneha and young guest Tanvi moving in

Listen to Tanvi gush over Anu and seek advice on how to woo him

Do some of her patni duties like serving RB his meals so he keeps his ruthless and warped mind sharp

She is legally her step mother but she has been forced into this. Whatever they had in the two previous meetings was a soulful bond but that doesn't give any right to any RB to blackmail her into marriage. That too when he knows she is pregnant and this step would seperate a child from his or her father. Will he ever like to be separated from Sneha? Then why do this to another child which you never want your own child to go through. His actions can't be justified in any context.

Secondly Yashoda was and would remain Lord Krishna' s mother more than Devki but situation here is as different as is black and white from each other. Please refrain from bringing Mythological characters in discussion as the mods already have stated earlier.

Prerna being legal wife of Bajaj is expected to take care of bajajs special child, well she would do more than her capacity to ensure she gives all the love to that child

Bajaj might have other revenge plots with basus, but if this is one of the reasons he was impressed with Prerna and got her as a mother to his child, then he has brought that lifelong pain in Prerna of seperating her child from its father.

If there was no Sneha angle, he could have asked her to leave him or plot in business against him on his side, even then she can give the same money reasons for leaving Anurag.

Taking of motherhood, he snatched that very happiness from Prerna, her desires cravings everything, everytime she thinks of her baby she will die a thousand deaths thinking of how Anurag was excited, and how she hasn't let him know,Bajaj might be supportive to her in the future at his best, but can anything fill the void of the baby's father .....? 🙂
