I kinda like Aloo because I think she has some x-factor/charisma on screen but I agree with you. I couldn't finish the 2-3 minutes youtube video of her moving house. So bland and boring. She wanted her fans to have a glimpse of her personal life but eh? That vlog of hers offers nothing interesting. Her narration is so dull that I think she sounded like Deepu almost.

SM is confusing to me..people who have 100 million followers,and people who have 10 million followers(sara ali khan) on instagram get similar likes.I mean Kim Kardashian's non nude posts get 1-2 million views!

Now I expected Alia's videos on YT to get more views than her insta videos.

She has put up her YT link on insta..yet in a month only 650+ followers of her 35 million followers ,have subscribed to her channel!

Views depend on the content. Just because shes alia doesn't mean people will search for channel and watch.

No offense but since jio launched and the internet got accessible for rural areas, youtube in India has turned into trash. Trending page is almost filled with cheap youtube channels with Bhojpuri tier comedy.and they have millions of views and subscribers.

Most of the big insta accounts are full of fake and bought followers. Influencers make their lifestyles on it so they are willing to do anything. The reason they make money is not because of the inflated follower counts but because they advertise very cheap and shady products like detox teas and supplements.

There's a big difference between instagram and youtube. People are willing to follow lots of random people they don't care about on instagram. It's easy for women to amass large following counts because they put up bikini photos and clothing and makeup posts and relationship gossip type of stuff. Scrolling past pics only takes a second.

Youtube is a much bigger time commitment and most people don't care that much. I follow Alia on insta but would never subscribe to her youtube channel. I could care less what she is doing behind the scenes and I don't have time for those videos.

The numbers are like that for everyone who is on both platforms. Priyanka has 43 million followers on insta and only 482,000 subscribers on youtube even after producing some youtube show. Alia has 687,000 subscribers in only a month.

Does Zaid still make videos? I think he stopped after getting married? No?

I didn't know that PC had a channel..I just searched,She has a few videos of her social work,which got views in thousands and promos of 1 film..Had she put a link on insta..or announced,she would have done so much better.She has a LOT of content,including hers and her husbands music videos!But she is not interested.

YT doesn't need to be publicized.It is just dumb of Alia to do it.Now,not one B lister would want to join YT.Nepokids want to set trends like others,but ones people will run away from ?
