Definition of blackmail:-demand money or another benefit from (someone) in return for not revealing compromising or damaging information about them.

Definition of deal: an agreement entered into by two or more parties for their mutual benefit, especially in a business or political context.

So deal is where there is mutual benefit and blackmail is where only the person with power gets the benefit. If we call it a deal- bajaj gets Prerna as his wife and Prerna gets Anurag out of Jail...can we call that a benefit she is getting? Does Indian laws consider this blackmail? I have still not come across any satisfactory answers for why it should be called a deal.

Prerna did have an option but options are available even in the worst situations

Anurag was jailed for Ronit's murder right and that fake murder was planned by Bajaj to trap anurag so when Ronit is alive the whole case should be nullified, so in this case bajaj framed anurag. Henceforth the whole incident negates the deal portion so in this case deal wont be justified also.Correct me if I am wrong coz I haven't been watching the episodes.

He had an option to go to police, hospital or call for some help. But he didn't do any of this.

He grabbed prerna ,put it in her car and they went in godown . Who does that?

For me atleast, he saw this as an opp to get some alone time with prerna . And this was a pathetic way to do it.

Yes some ppl will see it as an act of love and that's fine. It's their view.

But I see this as an obsessive and psycho behaviour.

for a criminal and cheap person like bajaj psycho anu hi teek hey!

@ bold about blackmail ....when someone holds back pertinent info without full disclosure with INTENT to force other person to do as expected it is blackmail. There is an implied consequence that is not clearly stated neither is a clear verbal threat made. It is in misleading the one being blackmailed into believing they made the choice willingly that makes it dangerous. In some instances it may classify as first class felony.

In the deal, all relevant and pertinent information is disclosed between the parties willingly.

So in this case RB blackmailed Pre though he led her to believe he gave her a choice.

The English language has very clear definition of words but ppl tend to throw weighted words lightly. It’s important for every citizen in any country to know and understand basic laws and their rights in their society so they can stand up for their rights and know when someone is attempting to con them.

Maybe if Pre had studied law or known her rights she could have found a way to get RB into trouble for violating laws.

Why can't Anu be defended by his actions ? Everytime someone says Anything, people start with But Bajaj did this and that.

Whoever said Bajaj is great? Isn't he a negative/grey character? How does bajaj being bad, automatically nullify Anurag's wrongs?
