What did Neha Sharma’s parents ask of her fans though? I do remember reading that she made a much larger impact than Athiya in Mubarakan so I guess that’s what they mean by luck just not being on her side.

It's mostly from her IG. Talking about the mother's lap being the most comforting place. Spotbye does not give any kind of hints so i'm just guessing.
