So, I don't see the real age difference of the two actors of any concern. They won't make a bad pair & age difference isn't new to ITV. Even if they say, Bajaj is 55 years old, even then he wouldn't look like her father on screen.

If RB is 44 & has a daughter of age 7-8, that means he had her when he was 36-37. Either his first marriage happened very late or he had the child very late. Last season he had adult children too, here they seem to have ommitted it out.
