#3 Tying Dori
This was excellence. Sheer excellence. I wished to have witnessed something like this during the engagement dori scene. But kuch haath na laga.
This was more intense than the zip scene. 😆
Now, let me recover.
#4 You, me aur hum
Aww! That was such an adorable piece. Abir and the baby was such a treat to read. I can already imagine a playful father in Abir with a mischievous daughter at his side. Unfortunately, the duo would always gang up against her. She can start creating a son to go against the father-daughter. 😂
#5 Camping with Abir
This was a light hearted and balanced one to start with.
#6 This starry night (Page 9)
To my surprise, Badi maa allowed her to stay back with Abir for a bit longer. When will this day come in the show?
Their past is one thing that connects them with each other. The loneliness that they had experienced during their childhood. I like such moments where sharing memories is so easy.
#7 Yeh Nazdeekiyan (Page 11)
The protectiveness in him, damn, that's kind of sexy about him. I loved how you had her thought answering the question of where she was lost - Abir mein. Haye!
And what came next was a treat. Pulling her into the classroom, switching off the lights and draping her with his own shirt. *Fanning myself* the whole scenario stirred ample of emotions and they were quite evident.
I enjoyed reading each one of these One Shots. Absolute treat with refreshing content in each. Looking forward to read more.
By the way, the index needs to be updated for the last shots.

That's absolutely fine. Till the time the message gets conveyed. And, that review barely matches up to how amazing these stories are.
And I am sorry. I just realised that the index part might have seemed rude. That wasn't my intention. Sorry.

Gah, it wasn't rude at all. Please!! :) Though I still haven't updated the index -😆
Hey everyone,
Gawd this one has been done and redone and redone again - I thought I'll try one last time and post. Let's see if this one makes the cut. Though fair warning, I don't like this one as much - rusty as I am back here after a long long while, so my writing might be choppy! I'll cut the blab for now and get on with the OS. Meet you all at the bottom

*#* 9 - A Bite of bliss *#*
What is bliss?
That would depend on who you are asking. A mother's lap for a newborn. A silent corner in a library for a book lover. Waking up in your loved ones embrace.
It could mean different things for different people. It had meant different things for her at different points of time too. But right now, for Mishti Agarwal Rajvansh, whose sense of smell was heightened by early pregnancy, it was the smell that was wafting all throught the kitchen. The smell of fresh Nutella cookies baking in the oven.
Placing a hand over her heart, she leaned against the doorframe, closing her eyes, "hmmmnn." She muttered, taking a deep whiff, "Heavenly. Just heavenly"
When there was no reaction from her husband, she opened her eyes to find him by the counter - cleaning the counter top. Her eyes followed his swift hand movements, his long hair rustling about and she ached to sink her fingers in them.
Wordlessly, she trotted over to him and pulled the earphone out of his ear before winding her hands around his slender waist. Startled at the sudden touch, he looked over his shoulder, smiling as he realised it was just her.
Hugging him tight, she placed a soft kiss below his shoulder blades. Pressing her face against his skin, she closed her eyes, letting her senses be enthralled by those cookies and the man who made them. And her husband didn't seem to mind either, as he dropped his hand over hers and pulled her closer.
They stood that way for a couple of minutes until Abir finished cleaning, Mishti lifting her head ever so lightly every now and then to smatter kisses across her husband's shoulders, arms, back - wherever she could reach.
"As much as I love this, Mrs.Rajvansh" Abir said, his voice laced with mirth, as he threw her a look out of the corner of his eye even as she stood on tip toe to reach his cheek, "go sit down. I'll get the cookies out"
As if on cue the oven beeped and Mishti immediately released her husband, setting her feet down and stepping away.
Abir turned around to face her, "what, no kiss?" He asked crossly, planting his hands on his hips, his lips pressed together in a frown, but his hazel eyes dancing with joy.
This man would kill her eventually, Mishti thought as a wave of warmth spread through her. Laughing, she wordlessly pulled his face down, kissing him square in his full lips.
"Now goooo" she said, as she pulled away.
Shaking his head, but smiling widely, Abir walked to the oven as his wife went back to the table. Her pregnancy had given her a wierd Nutella craving and here he was at 12.30 baking some cookies for her because she had seen a picture on her phone and asked him if he would pleeeeaaaase buy them for her tomorrow.
Abir rolled his eyes at that memory as he pulled the cookies out. If she looked at him life that, with those lotus eyes and a pout on her beautiful lips, he would move heaven and earth for her, and what had she asked? Cookies!!
Bending down to retrieve a plate, he heard his wife whistle, "Mr. Ajeeb Rajvansh, as much as I enjoy the view...." She paused for effect.
Abir's eyes widened before he grinned,
"Kya aap thode jaldi karoge?" She finished.
What??! Hiding the huge smile on his face, Abir turned around, "angry chorni...." He drawled, "now you got to pay" he said, shaking his head, his hand going behind his back to grab the cookies, "no cookies" he said, quickly moving around the kitchen to reach the shelves.
"Abirrrrr" Mishti warned, shooting up from her chair and prancing over to him.
"Uh-huh" Abir replied, laughing, as he dunked a few cookies into the jar and pushed it on the topmost shelf just as she reached him.
She planted her hands on her hips and glared at him. Extended an outstretched palm to him, she ordered, "give it to me"
Oh he was enjoying this.
"Kya?" He asked, feigning innocence.
She pointed to the sole cookie in his hand, "the one in your hand, give it to me" she said, bending down in an attempt to grab it.
He quickly raised his hand above his head, "I don't know what you are talking about" he said, pulling a straight face as she stood on her tip toes, trying to reach his hand.
Dodging her, he quickly thrust part of the cookie in his mouth, holding the cookie by his lips gently. She narrowed her eyes at him, "oh you shouldn't have. You SO shouldn't have" she said menacingly, shaking her head, before grabbing him by his shoulders and pinning him against the wall.
Looking around, she quickly extended her foot and hooked in under the stool. Dragging it to her, she hoisted herself up on the stool, standing a head taller than her husband who was looking at her as if... As if he wanted nothing than to get her upstairs right now.
Good.
Smiling softly, she laced her hands around his shoulders, even as his wound up around her waist. She lifted her hand to play with his tousled hair, "I said" she said, inching her head closer to his with each word, "I want" she nuzzled her nose with his as Abir closed his eyes, "the cookie" she finished, closing his lips over his, taking the remaining portion of the cookie in her mouth, careful not to bite him.
As the cookie erupted in her mouth, she threw her head back, reveling in the ecstasy of hot chocolate melting down her throat.
"Don't-" Abir's croaky voice brought her back. He cleared his throat loudly. She looked down at him and grinned, very aware of how her face must have been a second ago, and how her husband must have felt looking at her like that.
"Are you done eating?" He asked flatly.
Pressing her lips together, she nodded fervently.
"Good" Abir said, his lips lifting up in a smirk.
Uh-oh, that smirk. That smirk wasn't good for her -
Whatever she was thinking was cut short as her husband lifted his hands to her face and cupped them. "Then, come here" he said hoarsely, pulling her down to his lips.
She kissed him back, matching movement for movement, passion for passion. Her hands seemed to have a mind of their own, and they snuck under Abir's shirt, and over his chest. Letting herself be engulfed by the emotions and the feelings that was coursing through her, feelings only this man could make her feel, in the middle of -
Mishti's eyes flew open and she pulled back abruptly, "kitchen! Abir we are in the kitchen" she exclaimed, flustered.
Abir's slightly parted lips closed shut as he quickly rearranged his features, and pulled his shirt down. Realising how inappropriate they had been seconds ago, he shook his head.
Mishti watched with a smile as he turned around wordlessly and walked to the counter, going to retrieve the jar of cookies for her.
Sighing contenly, she turned around and walked to the table. Plopping down on the chair, she placed her cheek on her hand as her husband came back with a glass on milk and a plate of cookies.
Placing them before her, he laced his hand over hers on the table, "go easy on the sugar, okay?" He said gently, his eyes overcome with concern again.
She nodded, reaching for the glass of milk. Abir smiled, as he leaned in to place a tender kiss on her forehead. Her heart doing a gleeful dance, Mishti lifted her fingers to his face, as his lips lingered on her forehead for a couple of seconds.
Bliss was this man and their life together.
