Destination wedding on a cruise?? Moni, Mussorie ki jagah, yeh chalega?
I wonder what people mean when they use the terms like women empowerment, pro feminism/feminist and all such stuff and at the same time looking down upon the women who seek their empowerment and individuality in being a house maker and that too by choice? Why only a woman who works in a office is considered to be the empowered woman of our society? All those women who dream simple things like getting married and having families aren’t the empowered and can never be termed as the empowered part of the society - because that naive girl who seeks love and a simple life and achieves it too isn’t an example of an empowered woman? This view people tend to have about the empowerment and feminism is too parochial for me - isn’t it contradictory when same women and the society considers such women identity-less, who live their lives in the shadows of their hubbies and live for their kids and the dreams connected to them. Maybe, for everyone it’s different but honestly empowerment is - letting women choose for themselves, whatever it is - be it a career oriented route or otherwise, let them choose what makes them happy!
Sorry felt exhausted - needed to take this out! 😣😴
