He does. But Meenu has messed with his thinking and perspective so bad that he thinks he can decide what makes his loved ones happy on their behalf and alter the situations to make it happen by hook or crook (result of Meenu's upbringing).

Kunal thinks he cares. And he thinks he is being mahaan by taking decisions on behalf of everyone and deciding what's best for them. Does it remind you of someone? Yes his (foster) mom 😆

I don’t know if he is insecure of Abir because unlike Kuhu, he is ok if Maa loves Abir more, but yes he does seem to underestimate his intellect or his mental strength of decision taking .. 😈 In that aspect he definitely considers himself to be the better one out of the two.😆. Abir’s choices are not worth considering because he can be easily manipulated whilst I see him to be the only one who is not getting manipulated 🤣

I think Kunal has said multiple times he doesn't trust the girls. He doesn't trust people in general. he has to have a reason to trust them.

First it was Ketki ki shaadi when Kuhu asks if he trusts her , he simply said no

In his gordhana also, he didn't trust Mishti telling the truth. and i fully support him not trusting the outsiders😆

In the hospital after abir's accident he playfully mentioned as the girls were being chant with dress changing and alll to fool the family, he wouldn't trust them..he has trust issues bcz of Shweta i suppose?

whatever knowledge he has of people didn't apply to Mishti. Iska fayda meenu ne uthaya. when you cant understand something, its easy to put the fault in that...never in yourself...that's what he's doing with Mishti. case 1..regarding asking for courtship

case 2. refusing to get eye surgery

case 3:not being bechari when he was ready to go ahead and she was the one to break the engagement

meenu ka munna trusting in his maa has started to believe in it too

With his bhai he thinks its eternal duty to save him from Mishti's manipulations..
