Aap bhi hamaare liye ek family ho

In today's episode it was adorable how she blew a kiss at him affectionately and hugged him to tell him he was family, as if she'd been with him for years! She did it in her cheerful way but deep down it was to make him feel better after she learned of his guilt last night. I felt bad when HS said that, and also how he felt like an outsider after Babita said "Thank you". I felt a bit sad knowing that this might be the last happy moment for a long time but I know the journey will be worth it.

Minnie called him family, as if it were the most natural thing in the world, and she was surprised that HS would ever consider himself an outsider. I'm glad she said it out loud. Right now she only sees him as family in relation to herself as her Hanuman Uncle. She doesn't see the 3 of them as a family unit yet. It will take time.

This track was needed for her to mentally change the way she looks at HS, that he is not just a person she looks up to but someone who could be a permanent part of her life. She's never thought about him that far into the future but this will make her think about their dynamics and what he really means to her, not just words but sentiments.

She's going to act out and throw tantrums and at every step HS will correct her. She will get more frustrated but he will not stop. Eventually she will either push things too far where she really hurts him to the point where she knows she crossed the line, or where she will realize that she's being unreasonable. It's fine if she doesn't accept their relationship but she will have to grow up and learn that things don't always go the way we want (Preet had said something similar to her) and we need to deal with it in a sensible manner.

What Beeji said today was on point, about Minnie always acting like a parent to Babita and in the process forgetting to be a child. HS is the only person with whom she can actually act her age, do things that kids would do, and feel comfortable knowing there's an adult to look out for her, to guide her, or support her if she needs anything.

She's quite mature and sensible for her age, considering everything she's been through, so I'm sure she will accept their relationship over time. One day she will think back to when she called him family, will miss him terribly and come running back to hug him like a little girl. I am waiting for that scene more than anything else in the show.

One more thing. I knew that there would be a lot of anguish on Minnie and Babita's part during this track but after today's episode, I am sure that HS will go through hell of his own when he finds out that Minnie thinks he came between Babita and her. His eyes expressed how upset he felt today about being an outsider and if he knows that Minnie blames him directly or indirectly for this, he won't be able to take it. This was very clear from his chat with Babita and also what he said to Minnie about privacy later on.
