Minnie will accept HS eventually not because of how much he adores her but because he has the patience and wisdom to balance emotion and discipline, something which she craved for but Ashok never gave her. I personally am more interested in her dynamics with HS than in Hanita. I am curious to see how he will handle her and show by example what a real father is and why he complements Babita as a co-parent.

Totally agree. HS will go through pain and suffering but not so much because of Babita. Minnie's behavior and the distance will hurt him. The way she called him her hero ... and then he will "fall from grace" in her eyes once she finds out. It's going to be hard to watch him hurting because of that. I expect a lot of tears and heart bleeding on his part, and to a large extent on her part as well because despite all the misbehaving she adores him too and deep down knows exactly how precious he is.

That, and the fact that she is afraid she won't be Babita's only first prio anymore. They need to remember the conversation on holi where HS was encouraging Babita to live her own life, and not be possessive about Minnie. Role reversal.

This girl can behaves like a 40 years when she needs to give lectures to others but suddenly becomes so childish when something happens to her . No one is asking her to run and hug H.S or call her dady but this kind of behaviour that also after almost 1 year spending time with H.S is so very disrespectful and disappointing . I hope Babita and her DADDU,BIJJI give her a piece of mind ,instead of boosting her false ego .

Guys the issue is we get so involved in shows and so much attached to characters v love that v hardly want to understand reality. All while we are talking abt Mini being matured and how we have not liked her.thus. But not liking her now when she really is behaving as expected means v have a problem just because we want the love story to go on. Honestly this is first reaction and isn’t it as expected. Here is a girl who loves her mother and is possessive abt her, who loves her father but has to hate him for the way he has behaved, who wanted a family but has seen her parents separate, who is not interested in marriage just because of what she went thru. She will def not want another man loving her mother. I mean isn’t that natural. Yes with time she may accept the reality, understand that her mother is a human being and has emotions, understand that her mother needs her space aswell and a relation other than mother daughter, that she needs a companion. But this is just the first time she has understood the feelings what HS has for her mother not for Babita (though always felt it was very evident that HS loved Babita so how Mini or anyone will not notice that.. is confusing) But as per the storyline she has not realised this till now hence first time would be shocking as per me. If they would show her accepting it easily then it would have been surprising. For her age her reaction is not wrong, infact this is the way she should have reacted. I hope you get the point m trying to make. I feel she might accept the fact or honestly might not in the long run. if we think from her perspective, we will find it right.

I understand what you're saying. Even Ashnoor said that they are keeping the character and her journey realistic but showing her reacting this way. Plus, we knew from the beginning that she has anger management issues and recently was diagnosed with depression that she never fully came out of. Now they will focus on this.
