As usual you have penned your thoughts beautifully Zara! I always get this feeling when I read your posts that your connection to Abir and Mishti is as soulful as the connection Abir and Mishti share with each other and that makes your posts so special in a way!
As I mentioned in the AT thread, I was so happy makers did not go OTT with this whole accident sequence. Yes, it was far-fetched of course but not OTT - they did not have heavy chanting in the background nor did they have heroin crying excessively... Loved the subtle treatment to the whole sequence and the fact that they focused on Mish's emotions and quick thinking rather than her muscle power on how she got Abir out and on to the cart. I think the idea here was for Mish and Abir to realize how far she can go for his safety and well-being, that she cared for him so deeply... and also perhaps for Kunal to have a tini-tiny change of heart about Mishti (high hopes i know!) Rhea was fabulous in the whole sequence, never once going OTT - just the right amount of emotions, so impressed by her!! And yes, I noticed her voice modulations in the various ways she said Abir and I thought she did a stupendous job conveying her love, care and worry for Abir... Bravo!
What can I say about the hospital scenes... pure bliss! Loved all the little details of Abir waking up and admiring Mish and that smile of sukoon on his face, gesturing the nurse to not wake her up, trying to grab her other hand and putting it on the bed to make her more comfortable, Mish trying to hide Abir holding her hand with the pamphlet when the nurse entered and telling her she was just going to leave soon, Abir gesturing the nurse to give them privacy (so cute!), him pretending to sleep holding her hand and not letting go, she being worried about someone spotting them like this, him pulling her in and using her hand as his pillow... uff, so so beautiful! And I loved their sun-kissed faces throughout these scenes! Though they left it halfway to show other stuff and am waiting for them to complete the hand-pillow play today along with Abir's offer to exchange painting wali kaun hai info with Mish's Tumhe Kuchh ho jaata to... can't wait!
Regarding second part, I couldn't connect with Kunal yesterday. The kind of love they have portrayed so far between the brothers, somehow I did not feel it getting translated from Kunal's side yesterday. He kind of gave up looking for him when police asked him to return which I found very odd... His zunoon for looking for his brother kind of fizzled out on finding out Mish went looking for him first?! May be it was just his ego getting bruised by the fact that Mish was also looking for Abir... I don't know. I couldn't connect with his emotions yesterday at all. Yes, and loved Parul for reminding him about how his brother's safety was greater than his ego! Parul is making progress in the right direction, and I hope it continues...
Post got a little longer than I had originally planned to write... I guess had too many thoughts to convey! More MishBir magic on the way today ❤️
Wow I love the way you have captured the litte nuances of the AM scene in the hospital. Our sun kissed babies looked so cute. Even I couldn't connect with Kunal and his motive for hating Mishti. He really needs to grow up. Paurl was so level headed yesterday. Thank you so much dear you write so well yourself too.
Hey Zara! Why do you write so well? It's like you take every minute of Mishbir scenes and ponder upon them. The addition of quotes perfectly fits the situation in the show and adds beauty to your writing. I am always in awe with the way you manage to pen down your thoughts every night! Lovely!

Aww thank you . I actually do this. While I am writing the scenes play in the background. Lol and I legit search for quotes according to the scenes and modify them a bit.

“You never know how important something is until you almost lost it” Unknown
The word almost is an enigma on its own. It has been at the cusp of the chances we didn't take in life. The moments we give up on but when we almost lose someone is when we realize that losing them will annihalte our ownself to. Every day I tell myself that surely this episode won’t make me feel so intensely and fortunately everyday AM invoke a plethora of feelings inside of me. On a side note how amazing was Rhea Sharma today. My god this girl made me feel her pain. I was as frantic as she was. I could feel her uneasiness. She is running on the road like a women possessed whose only goal is to find the one she loves. A stranger warns her:
“Madam yahan jaan ja rahi hain aap ko gaari ki padhi hain”
Fair enough that stranger doesn’t know the worth of Abhir in Mishti’s life. Jaan hi toh hain woh Mish ki and wohi toh khatray main hain(He is her life and right now her life is in danger). She doesn’t care one bit about her own safety. Her heart has completely taken over and it will not rest until she finds him. The strangers call out to her they warn her to turn back but their pleas fall on deaf ears. Their pleas don’t affect her at all.
“Mujay apnay dost ko bachna hain” she says and rushes in to the eye of the storm. Alas love makes us do such foolish things sometimes. The scene cuts to Abhir and he is lying motionless in his car. He has fainted due to his injuries. She gets a call from Kuhu and she tells her that she doesn’t have any time for any casual chit chat.
“Nahi Kuhu woh mujay kahin nahi mila” This single line is said with so much emotions. Rhea Sharma voice is almost choking up as she so beautifully conveys Mishti state. The police tries to stop her but our smart angry chorni devises a plan to make her way to the other side because she must go. Her heart is telling her that he is on the other side. It’s important to note that Kunal stops at the barrier but she doesn’t after all Abhir’s soul is calling out to her. Abhir regains consciousness but in an attempt to move he injures himself even further. A shard of glass pierces his heart and I legit gasped. Uff the way Shaheer acted here was top class. A frantic Misthi shouts at the top of her voice”Abhir kaha ho tum?” then as destiny would have it her eyes fall on Abhir’s car. She runs at full speed and looks through the glass. Her heart and mind our working in over drive ,through the window she can see how injured Abhir is. She desperately calls out his name and asks for help. She taps the window hoping that her fragile hand would break the glass and allow her to touch him. The scene is hauntingly beautiful as the sad female version of Dheere starts playing:
“Dheere Dheere say meri zindagi main aha kay dheere dheere say meray dil ko chuda kay mujh ko chod kay chalay ho kis rah par jana hi that oh kyun ahayay yahan par”
Uff kamal we all know that Mish has abandonment issues that stem from her childhood. The people she loved have always left her. Here she is asking him that slowly and gradually you stole my heart how can you leave me? No,she won’t let him leave. She will fight death even. I am glad that Kunal finally acts sensibly and tries to contact Mish. Mish is in no state to talk though. She screams for help but no one responds and her eyes lit up up with tears and the way she says Abhir with so much emotion. Uff she made me cry. Rhea Sharma take a bow when she said”Abhir main yahin hu” and taps at the car door frantically budging it to open she legit made me cry. Yeh rishaty hain plays and by this time I am bawling I know these characters are fictional. I know that nothing will happen to Abhir but in this particular scene I can’t help it I cried like a baby. This is the magic of AM today they literally pulled all my heart strings. I love how Mish doesn’t let her grief overpower her rather she does some quick thinking and finds the log to break open the window.
“Abhir …Abhir main tumhay bacho gi main tumharay saath hu tumhay kuch nahi ho ga” Haaye the way Mish says it. She s crying but she says it with so much conviction and the way Abhir smiles and is relived to see her. He knew it that his painting wali will come to his aid.
Abhir please sona mat mujay tumhara haath doh” She pleads with him to not lose his consciousness.
The way Abhir almost whispers ‘Misthi’was beautiful. The way how Yeh rishtay plays and he slowly tries to reach her is pretty darn beautiful. His bloodied hand so beautifully intertwines with Misthi’s . In the entire ordeal Mish is reassuring him that she will save him and nothing will happen to her. She says this not only to him but to herself because there is a slim chance that she might lose him and notice how she keeps on repeating it desperately hoping that it actually happens. She reached to save him in the nick of time because a moment later the car explodes and as she looks from a distance she shudders to think what would have happened if he was in it. The scene cuts to the hospital.
Misthi pleads with an unconscious Abhir “Abhir tumhay pata hain na tum kitni dar say soh rahay ho. Mr Ajeeb Rajvansh tumhay uthna ho ga. Mujay jana hain tumhari painting wali kon hain who kaisi dikh ti hain main ussay tumhari naazron say dekhna chaati hu. Tumhay uthna ho ga”
Sigh I hate how we take things for granted. We humans delude ourselves into thinking that we will live another day so we hesitate in saying what really matters. We hesitate because we believe the time is not right but the truth is we can’t ever be sure of how much time we actually have. Moments like these when we come so close to losing someone is actually when we gain true clarity on what the other person actually means to us. Mish is in a similar state. She tells him that he must wake up because she wants to know who the painting wali is. She wants to know herself through his eyes. The truth is that she yearns to know that what he thinks of her. How can he see her to be worthy of love when she can't see her worth her own self. She wants to know his perspective what was it that compelled him to make a painting of her. She chides the doctors and the other staff to save him.
“Ussay kuch ho ga toh nahi na aap please ussay theek kar day” She pleads with the doctor. Her worrisome state makes the doctor mistake her to be Abhir’s wife. He reassures her that he will take care of her husband. Saathia rey plays and she realizes that she has to inform the others about his condition. I don’t have words for how magical Saathia ray sequence was today. They play scenes of AM walking together after that craas thing happened with Mish. Hatton main haath line comes and they show how Abhir’s bloodied hand intertwines with her. The storm rages on and she can’t hear the sound the thunder makes because there is a storm raging inside her as well. She breaks down and is concerned about his state so much that she doesn’t even care about her own wounds until the nurse points it out. She winces in pain but it is nothing compared to the emotional pain she is in right now. I wish I could make a separate post on the different way Mish say’s Abhir’s name because they way she says it in this scene with tears in her eyes is beyond amazing. As the morning sun shines some light on A our hero finally wakes up. He takes a look at his surroundings and there she is sleeping so peacefully her hand beautifully intertwined with his hand.
“Khoobsurat raat yay hain saath tera mangay. Dil yay mera khush rehtha hain bas saath tera paa kay”
“Teri khusbo jaisay jaado teri baad bhi reh jaati hain main mango uss rab say tujhay har dua main hi “
Saathiya meray main toh deewna hu saaray jahan say beygana hu ….”
I am such a big fan of silent sequences because in this scene Abhir’s so adorably looks at her and their hands. His eyes speak volumes he tries to move his hand but Mish has held his hand so firmly that he is unable to get free of her hand hold. In awe of her his head hits the pillow as she remember how she broke the window to save him and he smiles and then he grabs her hand and intertwines his hand with hers. How cutely he gestures to the nurse to not make a noise since she is sleeping and how adorably he tries to grab her other hand that is dangling on the side. His own pain is forgotten as he tries to keep her other hand on the bed and then Mish wakes up and he pretends to be asleep. Mish then says to herself”Abb haath kaisay chud ahao gar koi aha gaya toh” She is so afraid of the consequences because now she knows he is okay. I rofled when the nurse again comes in and Abhir gestures to her to give them some privacy. This is the beauty of AM in one episode they make me go from a crying kid to a love sick teenager who can’t help but laugh. She tells him to leave her hand but Jaaniya ray plays which says”Teray bin nahi lag da dil mera” and Abhir turns the other side and hold her closer refusing to let go. This scene is so symbolical even if Mish decides to walk away Abhir will hold her close and not let her go anywhere. Haaye that precap was so cute. Our AM babies have my heart.
I would conclude this part with this quote that sums up Misthi's feelings in this episode:
"Please, don't go," I whispered into the darkness as the light spray of rain touched my face.
If only I could turn back time.
I would tell him yes.”

The episode of course at least for me. I write on them because the writers have so beautifully crafted them. They are characters that touch my heart and my soul. Only a few ITV couples have had this affect on me. Also thank you so much for the compliment.

Thank you so much for the detailed description... I went through your post yesterday but couldn't watch the episode... wanted to reply after watching the episode... Loved going through the way you portrayed Mishti's emotions... However I was so disappointed to see that they did not show the full scene on TV especially the way Mishti saved Abir and her dialogues (including your post header) that are so important.. After the glass breaking scene the next scene they showed was Abir in theatre and Mishti waiting outside... also remember similar thing happened during the exhibition fire episode...Anyways sorry for the rant but thanks to you I could visualise the deleted scenes.. Trying to look for the episode on YouTube...
