I seriously have no idea about any credible critic. I never in my life watched a movie taking in critic positive or negative review. I watch trailer and decide whether to watch or not. Honestly, I haven't watched KS after disliking trailer, gullyboy bhi nhi dekhi and VKW bhi nahi. But this is my biases so I can't be a critic.

Critic should comment on subject, writing, execution, direction, location, cinematography, actors acting etc etc. Their evaluation and scoring should take all these elements I'm consideration. A 2 star movie can never do 200 crore if scoring was objectively given.

Subject nhi pasand aaya 2 score de diya.. And did Sanju deserve 3.5 I haven't seen that either. Oops

sorry i didn't know that, i havent seen many south movies so don't know about the different film industries within it, i just looked it up on google now and there are 5 industries - Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu and Tulu, i'll remember that next time :)

I also only watch if I like the trailer and because of friends. Rest is really wom and if some reviews match to it than I give a second thought about the genre if i would spend my money for it. Reviews is only for timepass.

Of course a 2 star movie by critics can be 200cr. In India there are many people who don’t read reviews. They don’t go by that. And I didn’t watch sanju there were several things why I didnt want to spend my time for it. But the movie was also called out by critics don’t know what Rajeev said but he is not the only critic there are many. Anupama and Rajeev are only popular cause they have their own show and are present on tv. But there are several other critics and they didn’t like it.

It has become so normal for a guy to hit a girl that we are used to this crap. Watch Mahesh babu movies, he almost always slaps girls for so called out of passion. And he is hot so chaltha hey. Even with good story , they try to include these kind of scenes. Because audience love it. Will they love the movie without a slap scene. Ofcourse, people will but they will anyway put the scene.

Also, this whole "critics need to be certified" thing makes no sense. Who will certify them? Reviews are opinions. These are people who put out their opinions about films, and they get a following based on how much their opinions resonated with people. That's all. Opinions are always subjective. And who are you to decide what is objective and what isn't? What is an example of an objective review? Everyone has bias. Including the moviegoers. If you don't care about critics, that's fine. But a lot of us do rely on them and are happy to. So to act like critics need to stop writing just because YOU don't like them is the height of arrogance.
