you are right, the more outrage over the film the better, and the director can see that, he knows the film has a base made of majority men who think like him, who see this toxic relationship as pure love and see a slap as honesty, and the director is being misogynistic by saying that women who didn't like the film have never been in true love, ugh

now the film has made so much money the director thinks he can say whatever he wants, even calling critics parasites

he is being so rude to rajeev, pretending to forget his name twice and calling him the fat guy with salt and pepper hair, he even insulted sanju in front of anaupama, he can disagree with their views but there is no need for him to insult anyone that didn't like the film

its unfortunate that this is how it works, people say outrageous/insulting things and they get attention, wat is more troubling is the excuses he is giving for the film, he said if a man is unable to touch a women wherever he wants and is not able to cuss her then there is no passion or emotion in a relationship, thats is a deeply troubling thing to say, he is trying to say getting physical is a way of showing honesty in a relationship and that people shud have the liberty to do that, women have been fighting to get out of violent relationships and he is saying that a slap isn't even violent

and wat is more unbelievable is he said preeti had no reason to slap him but kabir had a reason to slap her

he thinks kabir was staying faithful to preeti coz he didn't have sex with anyone else, but he was kissing any girl he met and was trying to get them into bed, yeh right thats kabir really staying faithful 😳 whereas for preeti to show how faithful she is she didn't let her own husband 'touch her little finger'

Whatever his views are, directors should not be making movies thinking how critics or SJWs or ANYONE would feel . HW is already poisoned with every movie trying to be politically correct
