At the end of the day it's just changing your workplace.. NRI doctors, engineers choose to work in different countries too for betterment of their future..they don't get any backlash for that. Then why actors are criticized for the same thing?

Having said that I don't see any point of celebrating an actor's personal achievements..thats for respective fans of the actors.

What else will they offer her... I guess she can pass off as a half caste...

I'm talking about the character. Not her next project.

If she doesn't want to play an Indian character in HW then what role can she play? She then can choose African or Canadian characters which barely have any scope in HW.

I think she’s talking about stereotypical Indian characters

I see what she means - thats shes going to play Indo-American roles, and not necessarily roles of women who hail from India.

It's gonna be a while before the industry is diversified enough to start creating such roles.
