Oh it's that how it is in India? In Aussie you have to get an Accounting degree first in order to be able to apply for CPA or CA. That's why I'm confused.

In India you need to pass 2nd pre-uni (class 12th) to apply for first level of CA...

Just doing a mere degree doesn't hold much value now and in the future too... So to have a strong career I thought to choose a professional course... I decided CA because it has both practical and theoretical aspects...

Also this is a rhetorical question why not studying finance and be an investment banker which pays more than Accounting as a basic salary and bigger bonus?

What I mean to ask do you pursue Accounting just because of the security or because you are interested in it?
