More power and respect to Zaira for making such a difficult decision. Many people including their families become sucked into the fame, money and power that comes with being a celebrity. Alot of celebs become sellouts steering away from their religious beliefs to please others. It takes alot to walk a different path to everyone else and be so vocal about it. She has referenced alot of religious text and its clear that it is something she feels strongly about and we need to respect that. Also its not easy to being a child star she must have experienced something not so nice within the industry which could have been a wake up call for her. It is great she values her faith so much and wants to attach herself so strongly to it.

If that's her truth why should she announce it in a different way just to please others. Why the shame in feeling strongly about your faith? Maybe she cant see herself in bikini shots in the future romancing the likes of Varun and Karthik whats wrong in that? Thats her personal view and she knows that what she is expected to do as a heroine clashes with her religious beliefs so she had to take a call at the right time rather than doing such stuff and then backtracking which would make her look like a hypocrite. I find her refreshingly honest and gutsy.

Zaira is an attention seeker. Earlier she filed a complaint for harassment due to the aeroplane incident where the accused was not apparently guilty, she had done that for publicity. And now also she is doing the same for gaining attention so that her upcoming movie gets a good promotion. Once the movie will be released, she will definitely sign for another film. Just to receive sympathy she has been using Islam religion. If you don't believe then you will see practically when she'll sign for her next film.

maybe she felt pressure to lose weight. I know they were talking about weight in their round table discussion and she was acting like she was happy and confident in her weight. If you feel depressed and sad, talk about that in the round table. It's sad that struggling artist didn't get a big break like her would've liked to be in her position.

Anyways whatever her decision is, good luck to her. But I have to say these new star kids are HORRIBLE at acting like ananya and all of them star kids, they look horrible too even though they are in shape. This girl Zaira was an actress who knew how to act. That's the difference between an outsider and a star kid.

Zaira is a powerhouse talent but very few are celebrated for their authenticity. If not today then tomorrow they are expected to change and conform to the standards laid down by Bollywood for a heroine. Look at what happened to Parineeti she was fresh, vivacious with bundles of energy but she lost herself along the way. The pressure to do hot photoshoots and mindless item numbers can become a recipe for depression, anxiety if it doesn't come naturally to you. Your essentially living a lie and not being authentic to your true self. Even Ananya started her debut by locking lips with Tiger who is a decade older than her and wearing bra blouses.

The sexualising begins from a young age which Karan Johar and Dharma are trying to their nepo kid stars. She cant be doing the same kiddish roles the natural progression would be to essay mature roles or something sexy or glamorous to give her an image makeover. Maybe she's not ready for that. The girl who played Anjali in KKHH (sana saeed) has completely sexualised herself despite being a Muslim. One just needs to take a look at her IG. It's sad really that to attain success the clothes come off. Not everyone wants to live like that. Zaira has a right to live her truth and if this decision gives her peace then people do need to back off and stop questioning her intentions.

i guess she isn't enjoying being in the industry, kudos to her for making the decision about quiting, its not easy as she is doing films with big stars and so there is the temptation of staying, but its better for her to follow her happiness, film industries are tough places especially for kids and teens

This message isn't for us , it's for the pressure group present in her life whoever they are.

Anyway , if sky is pink is hit and she get offers , she would come back, retiring In acting doesn't mean anything.
