That's what I said , the amount he is asking is justified but I am in no position to give coz I left my job last year. I had saved 1.5 L for celebrity endorsement so it goes way out of my budget.

Celebrities do charge for these kind of things and maybe 2.5lacs is decent not much in their world. We have to be more realistic. Please don't get offended, just my thoughts.

Absolutely not offended and I absolutely understand. That's why not asking my parents for money for this. They will shoot me😆 they will say u want to waste our hard earned money like this !!

The only reason I wanted celeb endorsement is, it helps ! There are around 10000 novels released every year. Nobody knows the writer and it fizzles away. I left my cushy job at IBM last year to make my career in writing. I have fought with my parents, and told them to give me 2 years to prove myself. I am 29 and they are putting lot of pressure on marriage and I said not till I become someone.

So , u see, a lot is at stake now. Just giving you a picture as to know why I feel celebrity endorsement for first time authors is important and helps. But yea 😢 it's way out of my budget.
