The twins - genes of both parents

Folks, after watching yesterday's episode, I feel both have got the DNA of both parents. Let's begin with Rhea. She is selfish, ruthless, unpredictable, impulsive, insecure, irrational yet the same time having softness. And it is not Abhi alone. Many of us including myself have blasted Abhi as being selfish, but after y'day's epi, I felt Pragya is even more selfish and insecure. Come to think of it, she has NOT YET TOLD Prachi her father's name though she promised. And yesterday also, the way she was behaving with Disha. It smacks of pure insecurity of the feeling of losing Prachi to Abhi, though Prachi wouldn't herself do it. Same goes with Rhea. Her hatred toward Prachi stems from the fact that she realises Prachi is way better than her and that her father loves her. And she wants to possess Pragya just as Pragya wants to possess Prachi. It is as if we r not dealing with humans here- more so items. Prachi being the target like Abhi is. Imagine, Pragya blasted her for trying to commit suicide telling Prachi owes her life to her and then blackmails her by threatening to do the same.

Now Prachi - makers have shown her totally positive. So she got the good of both. Rational, sensitive, caring, practical (the handling of this event proved) yet impulsive just like Abhi. And she too like Abhi is not insecure. She would openly accept both parents and sister like Abhi would. The impulsive nature u can see in running after cars or judging someone hastily.

The only rubbishness is her interactions with Ranbir. God one would think she had more sense and judgment after all these incidents. In fact, yesterday also when Ranbir offered to take her mother to hospital she declined and instead asks him drop her home. At least they could have shown a semblance of courtesy and gratitude. It was disgusting.

More than Prachi, because of such scenes, I feel she doesn't deserve Ranbir.

I don't know how i feel about this.

i mean with just what we know about everything that's happened in the show, realistically Pragya should have had a mental breakdown by now.

in my opinon, Pragya's decisions have never costed them as much as Abhi's impulsive decisions have costed them.

We've already seen in the show that Pragya was paranoid about loosing Kiara, and it's completely understandable for her to feel that way. i think even her paranoia of something always going wrong when they meet isn't unreasonable either. The reason she didn't want to be a part of Abhi's life in Season 3 was because she was afraid of Abhi's enemies harming Kiara but her love for Abhi won over, she was convinced by him that maybe things would go right finally but that didn't happen. Being together with abhi didn't erase that fear. There was still alot of unsaid things between them. For example, i don't believe she ever revealed o him about her attempted suicide after he threw her out of his life or why she refused to give in because of the interview she watched of him. She never shared her insecurities of growing up without her father with him.

Maybe she is at a fault for doing that but i can also understand that given their characters, Pragya's character would have assumed it would hurt Abhi and she didn't want to do that. Losing their daughter naturally proved her fears right, especially given the way she died. Nikhil was hit by the bullet from the gun in Abhi's hand. Correct me if i'm wrong there i can't exactly remember.

So when she left with Prachi, she'd literally lost everyone she'd ever loved at that point. Her sister was dead (Because of Abhi's sister), her mother and Dadi disappeared, presumably dead in that timeline, and her daughter dead too. All she had was her daughter and for her to want to keep her away from Abhi, from that family, for her to fear losing Prachi isn't irrational.

Where as Abhi still had his whole family sans Dadi whose death he irrationally blamed Pragya for. it always irked me when he said that he forgave her for it. Forgave her for what exactly? For trying to save him from the woman who wanted revenge for her assassin husband's death, a killer his sister had hired to kill her. Like what even.

He definitely has far less reason to be insecure about losing Rhea than Pragya does about losing Prachi in my opinion.

Of course i understand if there are people who don't agree with what i'm saying. there may have been things that i've gotten wrong because i haven't religiously followed the series.

I personally think Pragya paid a hell of a price for the love she got from Abhi. I mean her life has been a rollarcoaster since she married him without a break. The kind of shit she's been through for him and because of him outweighs in alot of ways the little love that she's got from him. She went from a simple and confident collage professor to doing the kind of shit she probably never ever could have imagined for the weird OTT literature novel to write in.

Abhi gained everything by marrying Pragya. He was saved from being married to a selfish and shrewd woman, he matured, learned the reality of his relatives even though he didn't learn jack from that and he attained a partner who was literally willing to do anything and everything for him.

The only place Pragya possibly went wrong was not trusting Abhi from time to time, as in if she'd just told him the truth in the beginning about certain things half of the shit we saw happening the dramas would not have happened and even that isn't unreasonable for her because she knew Abhi's impulsive nature. He sees the world in black and white when it isn't like that.

I personally think Rhea is definitely more like Abhi than Pragya. Her love is possessive and overprotective which she gets from him. He always wanted what was his to be his no matter how he treated that thing or person for that matter. Example, during the MMS track he was furious with Pragya for betraying him when he literally went to his girlfriend on the first day of their marriage and continuously had a relationship with her all that time. Then again when he saw her with King, he couldn't stand the sight even though he was the one who kicked her out of his life. Rhea is also gullible like Abhi and that will definitely come through in the future episodes. The kind and caring side we see of Rhea only comes out for Pragya and her family which is also very much a Abhi trait.

Dear God, if only I could argue and write this passionately and articulately for my courses. I would certainly be graduating with a far higher GPA than the horror it is right now. 👀🙄😓

Agree. When you go back and watch the initial episodes where Abhi married Pragya and the kind of venom he was spewing at her... all the dialogues about destroying her life. It all eventually came true. :( Not intentionally but it came true nevertheless. I hoped for Abhi's apology to Pragya for throwing her out after dadi's death. A heartfelt, no punches pulled apology. It never came. 😭 The writers definitely love keeping up Abhi's bad boy tendencies and justify them. Whereas Pragya always has to be the martyr.

Oh! I didn't know what happened in this serial for minimum the past three years b4 Mar 2019 if not more and I don't intend watching online too. Maybe u do have a point of Pragya's insecurity. The fear of losing another child because of an irrational impulsive father. I guess u r justified in Ur assessment of her insecurity and concern. My point, however, here is at least she can trust Disha and to some extent Prachi who feels for mother. I have seen on innumerable occasions how Prachi feels for her mother when she realises Pragya misses Abhi. If she just tells the whole truth, maybe Prachi, though she finds out about her father, would not attempt to tell him she is his daughter. And Disha too. She would ensure Prachi is safe.

As for this rubbish I had tolerated this vulgarity in the beginning only for Sriti. I could NOT fathom the fact that someone would allow her husband to freely roam about with his mistress instead of dumping him outright come what may.

And misfit, Ur take on arguments. Yeah we have character analysed these characters more than Shakespeare's plays also. 😂😂😂😂. Balaji should give us a list doctoral degree.

This. I am completely for Pragya not going back into Mehra mansion again. I want Abhi-Pragya together but also not in that house again. Not unless Abhi can completely stand up to Alia and ask her to leave the house and if Alia doesn't leave then he should leave with his wife and children. He can certainly afford to move out and buy a new house for his family. I just don't want the same drama repeated over and over again.

both have got the DNA of both parents.

A joke right? Rhea has only the DNA of Aaliya and a little bit from Abhi i don't see any DNA similarities to Pragya.

Pragya is even more selfish and insecure

the same goes for Abhi,

Ranbir offered to take her mother to hospital she declined and instead asks him drop her home. At least they could have shown a semblance of courtesy and gratitude. It was disgusting.

she doesn't deserve Ranbir.

It was about her mother she was not in the mood for a small talk and exchange of courtesy. And it's not disgusting when Prachi wants her mother with her and not in the hospital. It was just a faint, no serious injury.

Prachi doesn't deserve Ranbir

agree because she deserves a better guy and not such an irritating guy. Ranbir doesn't deserve Prachi.
