I spent all Sunday out, by the river, with Jelena and few of my friends...The day was sizzling hot, but by the water is always nicer and less hot...Than, just after we finished our lunch and coffee, the rain started...so we waited for weather to calm down and than we go home, just reached home an hour ago, happy to see that in this part of the city there was no rain, so Bino was not stressed...he was just happy that we returned home...😊

I saw on the news that there was a huge storm in Vojvodina, so I hope that Nada is fine and that there was no dammage at her home. ❤️

As for those cherries in my garden, Madi, they riped in the meantime, so one day after I came here we picked them and they were the main ingredians in one of my BD cakes...😆 I also made some jam out of it, and the rest I washed, took the pits out and frozen, for some future use...

I could see that you made some excellente chocolate cakes that I also love...so thank you for all those yummy slices...🤗

Glad Branka you had your favourite outing by the river side, in Amsterdam, Paris too, people love to take river water rides or flock near rivers and eat in sit out restaurants nearby, guess water brings calm and peace and the setting is idyllic.

I know that recently I wrote so much about weather, but that is because I never faced the weather like this... Even last night, as I thought that there will be one evening without rain and thunderstorm, a hell broke before midnight and storm started...They said that in few hours last night, fall the same quantity of rain, that usually fall in one month...This morning lots of parts of the city were flooded...we are fine, because we are at a hilly area, so water never stay for long...In the area from where my husband is, there was a horrible hail storm and all the orchards were damaged, I talked with my SIL, and she said that storm was like none before...so there will be lack of fruits, and they will be more expensive...Hope that Nada's place was not affected...For tomorrow they are predicting the same, thunderstorms, strong wind and hail storms...and I have to go to town...

I am planing to travel on Wednesday, and I am finishing few more things that needs to be done...Mom is happy, Jelena and Bino are sad...In the middle of July she will come to stay with us in Zagreb, so we will be all together, we are planning to take Bino with us too...arranged all the papers he needs for traveling in EU...

I hope all of you are fine...thinking of you, and sending you my love...❤️

It is really very scary, I am getting jetters just reading what you wrote Branka, really cannot imagine how you all are going through. Will pray for all of your safety. By the way why Jelena and Bino are sad?

So sorry, Branka at the weather travails you all are going through, we are used to such conditions, flooding, water logging and all the associated inconveniences and problems, praying for your country that it soon overcomes this. One night's rain equivalent to a month's rainfall😲, thank God you live in a higher or hilly terrain but so sad for others who face nature's wrath.

Wonder how is Nado , not heard from her since the storm, hope all well with her and her family and also her farms.

Don't know, recently this if started showing a new technic to me 😢🤔😩😳whenever I select a normal size image with a quote, sometimes, it is making it very small, and many times its making it extra large!!🤪 Why is it playing with me in such a scary way??
