We live in a society where even a minister said that eating noodles causes hormonal disturbance. And the guys who eat noodles rape women. If this can be used as an excuse to rape then anything can be.
You are giving to much credit to the audience when you say they can think what’s wrong and what’s right.
Sick twisted guys like that exist in each society...their actions are their responsibility not the filmmakers...we can and should work towards a more open and mature society...it’s hard but it is possible and that’s a different debate altogether
Is it ok to review a film based on the society it was released in? Is a review about our reaction to the film or our assumptions about people’s reaction? Who gives us the authority to make that assumption?
If so then I suggest filmmakers have no choice but to follow templates to make films in future
All we shall have is good guys having good things happen to them...and bad guys having bad things happen to them....
Guy drinking cigarettes and alcohol must die...gangsters die, robbers die, criminals die, cheaters die
No dhoom series, no Bunty aur Babli, no don series, no raees, no Padmavat, no manmarziya, no kank, no andhadhun, no fashion, no kaminey...at this rate only Sooraj bharjatiya qualifies...he too is accused of mysoginy though 😂
I somehow don’t see altering movies and plots/ censoring and banning movies being a practical solution to any society problem
