no it wasnt merely for bf...hail the movie as much as u want but dont try to portray a disturbing scene as comedy...yes the ice cube scene was funny.. thats all..

yes the scene was not an ideal one, and the girl was indeed shocked when she saw the knife pointed, but the scene shot in a comic manner, just like Kabir harassing his maid.

I like how some people read stuff and intercept it as per their convenience, no where I am saying Kabir is a good man, nor I said Preeti is an ideal woman, as I said she was indeed stupid person to love a jerk. And she isn't strong because she is smitten, it is not about her being strong, it is about her being willingly in the relationship, and persisting with it even after it was all ended.

no one wants them to be ideal man woman here...it's not like we havent seen flawed characters before....but there is a difference when you glorify certain acts....

and abt mocking..well it deserves it atleast from my side..rest u enjoy the movie and chill !!!

No ones teaching anyone anything it’s a free country 😂...like or hate whatever you want all u want...

Since this is a thread abt the specific review, we are debating the authenticity of picking fragmented bits and pieces from the movie and reviewing it based on that and that alone....me more so also questioning the lack of general consistent stand on a critics part, when reviewing films of similar styles or genres

Rest u troll the movie and chill 👍 no ones trying to convince each other about the film being good or bad...we can all decide that for ourselves individually

The movie might be problematic but these critics have their own biases

Kabir Singh Is Excellent On Day Two

Kabir Singh excellent did excellent business on Saturday as it collected around 22.25 crore nett to take its two day total to 42.25 crore nett. The growth is 10% on Saturday and considering the first day was so strong this is very good. The cricked match on Saturday did not affect business much and this was the case with all the films.

The film has shown strong growth in Mumbai of around 20% with even Gujarat growing well on Saturday. Circuits like CP Berar and CI have managed to show little gains and considering how well they opened this is a sign that the film is going to be a huge success.

The only places where the business is on the weaker side is the cities of Punjab like Ludhiana and Jalandhar as the Punjabi film Shadaa has affected it. The circuit of East Punjab is strong as the centres of Haryana do huge business. The business of Kabir Singh till date is as follows.

The film should do very well on Sunday as mass centres are strong for the film. The business in the first two days have ensured a HIT film and now its about how big of a hit this film can become.

So excited to watch Kabir Singh! Although I wish it's name in Hindi was also Arjun Reddy. I watched Arjun Reddy becoz of my Telugu Bestie and loved that movie in some parts and disliked some like cigrattes and alcoholic hero. But Vijay did a great job. Later when Kabir Singh was announced, I had a discussion with my bestie about it and he told Shahid Kapoor will overtake Vijay's role because of Shahid's great acting skills which was clear from trailer. I told Arjun Reddy is original and so Arjun aka Vijay will always be there as original. Then my bestie said, even though he's Telugu guy, said that the same person is directing this new movie so he's sure Shahid will overtake Vijay and now I think Shahid has outshined Vijay's Arjun Reddy with Kabir Singh because Kabir Singh has already surpassed the amount of lifetime earned by Arjun Reddy and I'm sure now that Shahid must have done a fabulous job as well. Let's see how Kiara has performed as well. Looking forward to Nikita dutta as well. All the Best Shahid, you deserve all the praises!! 😘😘😏😏

Kiara was such a waste...she doesn't really suit the shy girl, her only impactful scene was the very last one, where she was angry.

Otherwise, it was weird when she wasn't giving any expressions at all. I don't think she even smiled before Kabir bought her to his room. And her whining like a teenager was 🙄

We live in a society where even a minister said that eating noodles causes hormonal disturbance. And the guys who eat noodles rape women. If this can be used as an excuse to rape then anything can be.

You are giving to much credit to the audience when you say they can think what’s wrong and what’s right.
